Well you've definitely piqued my interest in NLP and those two books. So do you make a living doing this stuff? I mean, does it pay for your room, board, and transportation?
I'd really rather not discuss my income on a public forum, especially since we are still recovering from the fire that wiped out my business as well as my home. But I can say yes, many people do do this full-time, and that is my intent as well. Phil has just posted a video on the disinformation website, about the Meta-Magick course he is teaching through the Maybe Logic Academy. This video is part of the course. In it he discusses Atem, the entity that is the book that teaches Meta-Magick. http://www.disinfo.com/content/story.php?title=Meta-Magick-Language--Brain-1 I admit I had to chuckle when he talked about people in seminar with weird timelines. I gave him the hardest time in training over the linear structure of time, so that may very well be me he's talking about.
I didn't mean to pry into private or personal matters, SweetBriar. And I'm sorry for your troubles. Incidentally, my sister and her husband lost a home and a business to a fire a few years back. Ironically, not long before the fire, their home was featured in a regional homes magazine. They recovered, and now have a new home that would also make a good feature article. I on the other hand live in interior design hell. Not my choice - except indirectly; it's the company I keep. I wish I could view the video on your link, but my income doesn't allow me to afford high-speed internet, and actually where we live out in the woods, our phone company won't even supply us with it. It takes me hours to download videos, and I have to share the connection with my wife and kids, so it just isn't practical to view online videos. Maybe I can get a satellite dish someday, if the spirits are willing... I like Kurt Vonnegut's treatment of timelines in his novel, Slaughterhouse Five.
I've read a lot of studies that seem to prove spells can work in certain situations. But the question is have they worked for me? Honestly, I'm scared to try one! I want to...I've read a lot about spells, especially voodoo, but I'm worried that it really *will* work! I know that sounds strange -- wouldn't you want it to work? But it seems a person could start to rely on them. Oh, I can't fall in love on my own, I better use a spell. I can't get that job by myself, I need a spell. (Or worse; Why go to the doctor, I'll just use a faith healer.)....but it's tempting, especially the love spells!
