Hey, I'm a certified auto tech.

What lights were on? If you mean the brake lights on the rear of the car were stuck on, that's a $10 brake light switch that I can walk you through changing. If it's lights on the dash, that could just be low fluid in the master cylinder resevoir. The pads/rotors may not even need to be changed. Give me more details, what kind of car is it? Did you already take it in?

And don't drink vodka on zoloft, take it from me. That is gonna fuck you up sideways. Youre doing well, don't get twisted right now. Just deal with this one step at a time.

It's already in the shop... it was two lights but I forget what they were but anyways they said it needed brake pads and roters on both sides in the back and something else that i forget the name of because of heat damage and fluid...seriously... i suck at car shit... i cant explain it really but what was happening was....when he'd go to put the break down... it would keep going and going and going before it would work.... or that's how he explained it to me, if that makes any sense....

we're applying for a credit card there so if we get that we'll get his car today...
if not... guess it'll sit there and who knows what will happen...
i wish we wouldnt have taken it there and had them start work cause my friend alice called me and said her husband would do it super cheap but it was too late. :(

    And I'm not gonna drink.
But I really wish I was numb.

    Calipers?

It sounds like you have some kind of hydraulic problem. Or if it has shoes in the rear they could just need adjustment. Hopefully the tech isn't just trying to get an easy brake job out of it. But brakes also aren't something to fuck around with, so it's good to not take any shortcuts with that. I hope you get that credit card..

are you working right now? do you think you could manage a part time job in the area to help out?
talk to the manager, let him knowk youve got health problems and cant work more than liek 5 hours at a time... some places will be understanding and work shit out. just gotta find a manager who isnt a total asshat. subway was pretty decent about having short-ish shifts, would work the lunch hour rush or something at a restaurant/something near you... might help

OK, I understand that things are shitty right now. But also, you started your period today and that makes everything look 10 times worse from your perspective right now.
Do you have a Boys and Girls Club near by? Are they hiring? It seems like programs like that would be hiring since summer is coming up and would start training now. If the Boys and Girls Club is hiring PM me.
Also, did you get enough sleep last night? I know sometimes when I get less than 8 hours I just feel very anxious and everything seems magnified.
With the medical problems. I honestly think it is just stress, but you should get your blood sugar checked since you just lost a lot of weight.
Also know, you guys have been through worse times together and this is going to be okay.

    Okay here is the deal.

We ended up getting my car today...because we had to write a check and they wouldn't take Dan's check for his car without being able to verify the funds are in there.... and they won't be until tomorrow when his check is deposited from work and the money from his mom is deposited as well.

But they took the check for my car so we got that. THAT actually makes me happy cause his car is a five speed n i cant drive it....anyways he just left with my car to go to work.... I'll be able to use the car though when he's not working .... basically everyday until 3 pm (when he leaves for work)... I'll be able to use the car.... so tomorrow morning I'm gonna go look for a morning/early afternoon job....

Also I'm gonna call the doctor, tell them I want a diabetes test... then if that comes back negative, that I want a referral to a neurologist (not just an optha-neurologist)...... it's gotten to the point where my hands and feet are numb and painful almost CONSTANTLY... it seriously hurts so bad.
So I gotta figure this shit outta.... pretty sure it's a neuropathy but gotta figure out if it's diabetes or if i just abused my body too much in the past and caused a neuropathy (which im hoping)

Anyways I just freaked out and cried and had HUGE amounts of anxiety.... my husband and I just yelled at each other for like an hour straight because we're both so stressed out about money and stuff....

I'm so sad about it... there is a liquor store right by my house....
does anyone know if I just bought a small bottle of wine to drink (instead of vodka, which i wanted) if it would interfer with the zoloft that much?

and allonym that's a good idea about the few hours .... i will just say im sharing a car with my husband currently and having health problems and only wanna work like four hours a day or somethign... i really dont think i can handle more right now though..cause even though i work out and do a lot around here... every half hour to an hour or so i have to put my feet up on pillows or rub them really hard cause they hurt so bad....

and i slept between 6.5 and 7 hours of sleep last night....

GOOD FOR YOU! Honestly, wine won't interfere with your zoloft, but do you really want to drink if you've had probs with it in the past? I am not judging...shit I have my own long list of addictions-just giving an outsiders view.

No, she never went. I remember because I was jealous, having always wanted to go to Puerto Rico. Anyway...judging sucks man. We all have our vices and our own faults.
