raz you think camden is worse than newark? I duno I'm split with that one. Camden is fucking garbage though... even areas of West Trenton are horrible. North Trenton too.

I must say, I've seen a lot of sketchy areas up in NYC while apartment searching.

Luckily the place I got is in a cute little neighborhood... :D

NUMBAZ DONT LIE! MAH HOOD IZ ROUGH, YA DIG?!

St. Louis does top the charts in homicides per capita all the time though...and it isn't even close.

KC is actually way up there too, and the majority of this fuckhole is suburbs.

Missouri should officially be retitled Misery

Independence, Missouri is supposedly the meth capitol of the world...which is like a 10 minute drive from where I live, but the city limits touch each other.

It's strange, really, because the Church of Latter Day Saints also believes that Jesus will be born again in Independence...I'd have to agree though, that place needs a cleaning up - Sodom and Gomorrah style.

Crack is all over the city though, too - there is a crack house on the same block as my family's business. Today I saw two cracked out bums holding hands walking down the street and another dude that was obviously on something waving his hands around stopping in the middle of traffic and shit. He walked around the block all day doin that shit, it's sad

If there’s a large white population living just above or near the poverty level then yes; missouri is the meth capitol

I don't think Missouri is shitty - it just isn't for everyone, that's all. So you can get out of our state with your gay little oceans and shit...

I've never been to a state that wasn't on the coast, so I'm just stereo-typing :p

Seems like the inland states are full of meth and rednecks.

I like Kansas City for what it is. You can't expect a big city, and you can't expect a small town. And you can't expect anything in between that.

    Kansas City just is.
It's a place that once I go off on my own I will probably miss like crazy for no particular reason. It has its downs, it has some ups, but it just is home - like wherever i may move, I feel like i will eventually come back to KC to live

which sucks, because this place is gay!

    hahaha
but for real, i like it. and i think you should too

Plus, it's the city of fountains...supposedly the only other city to have more fountains per (x) amount of square feet in the world is Rome
