Today woulda been my father's 52nd birthday.

We had a moment earlier...I was talking to him in my head (Rollingalong, more telepathy stuff-ignore this post :tongue: )

 

I am coming down with something...not the flu...something...but I refuse to have the flu.

Not random emails - my account being used to send out emails at various intervals. I was notified by Yahoo that my account had been compromised, and they had to shut it down and then resurrect it.

Obviously time to chew them each a new asshole.

Everybody around here is crowding the gas pumps to fill their tanks. What's the point of filling your car's gas tank before a snowstorm? Buying food I can understand.

Ah, so. I am only an egg.

I too am ignorant. I grew up in central California, where it snowed exactly one (1) time during my entire childhood - a total of maybe two inches, max.

I will tell you one thing though: New Englanders have a different way of thinking than any other folks I have ever known. You can tell you're in New England as soon as you cross over the border from New York to Connecticut. Suddenly: There are no gas stations, hotels, or fast food joints at the major freeway exits. The attitude seems to be: Can't find what ye're lookin' for? Ye're not from AROUND here, are ye? Best be gettin' back to where ye DO belong, eh?

Was talking to one of the new girls at work today and I shit my fucken pants AS I WAS TALKING TO HER. And I was wearing KHAKIS. Fuck.

 

snow prepping?..ive never heard of that lol

about the only prep we do here is make sure that on garbage day the garbage bags/recycling box are not in the path of the sidewalk guy when he comes with that trackless snowblower to clean the sidewalks for the kids walking to school....

and i like to have a shovel near the door so i dont have to walk through a drift to find it

 

Add Depends Undergarments to that wardrobe.

 

I just let the shit pile up...

I have TWO snow shovels next to the front doorway. Hopefully I can get the kids to use them.

Looks a little lightweight for handling two feet of snow.

Better than shoveling manually though...maybe.

I dunno. Now that I finally have a little money I might consider buying a gas-powered snow-blower.

Not that I know anything about those things. Never really thought about it cuz I never expected to have enough money to buy one.
