It shouldn't be.. stealing has a trickle effect (affect? I don't know the difference) among everyone involved in the system, and even stealing from big corps hurts everyone to some varying degree, and it's ridiculous, and it's hypocritical to steal when the average person who is a thief wouldn't want things to be stolen from them...

i used to steal beer from the store like no tommarow. and if there was something i really needed and i didnt have the cash i'd gank it. i will admit though, there is a certain rush you get. cant explain it though. but there is definately a rush.

i stopped doing that after i got caught though. i was alright, since i worked retail for so long i knew what they were looking for.

only stole from big stores like walmarts, cvs, dollar general. still dont see the wrong in that though, not from the big chain stores that steal from us on a daily basis.

BUT, i dont do it anymore, just isnt really me i guess. if there's something i needed real bad then maybe.
(example i had athlete's foot once, no cash, couldnt stand the pain anymore, and stole some lamisil. no harm no foul)<--- that was over a year ago though

There's people who make bank in big stores.

I knew someone who got many thousands of dollars, probably monthly, from walmart. Everything from bikes to just about anything you can imagine. And the possibilities for return scams are limitless. He did get caught though, eventually.

Basically, for those who will risk a bit, walmart is like a limitless ATM.

I guess my point is that shoplifting is for chumps, but as far as shoplifters/chumps go, you're a chump.

How would you feel if someone came into your house and stole all of your beer, regardless of whether or not you paid for it?

It would be a shame to have death on your head for shooting someone over free beer lol

..Just make sure that you shoot them in the front, not the back

    I don't fight for sport.

If I fight it's because I'm forced to and fear for my life if I choose not to. I will do my best to kill anyone who physically attacks me. Thankfully I've never had to try. It's like grumpy pacifism, in an absolutist way.

That said, you could at least have been motovated by my post..... go to walmart and use some cojones and get yo paper up.

It wouldn't be surprising if it was a Walmart employee or a friend or relative of an employee. In more serious criminal cases, the authorities will sometimes purposely let someone do such things for a while as a way of building a case against the person and to find out who else they may be working with.

Sometimes half the shrinkage is due to employees. That's why only a smaller group of workers have the ability to remove items that were already scanned at the register or issue refunds for returned merchandise.

A worker letting an item go past the register un-scanned can be difficult to stop. Employees do it for their friends or relatives. There are other tricks that employees use.

Although people with a naive and idealist mind praise greeters as the most honest people in the world, they can't be trusted either. They can be in cahoots with another person and purposely let unpaid merchandise go through action alley and out the store. Security itself can't always be trusted. Sorry, idealists. You can't blame the customers for all the shoplifting.
