You gotta do what you gotta do, and we'd steal the same shit everytime. We'd steal the PUR water filters or some bed sheets, and we'd always make sure it was around $50 per return, and there was a $50 limit for most returns, but we could get more than that sometimes, depending on who was at the customer service register. Either way, it was all profit. Also, we could each only take something back 3 times with each ID within 6 months, but the woman I was living with had 3 different ID's and we also got lots of people to take shit back for us, so we always found a way. The biggest part was actually stealing the shit to take back, and we figured the rest out afterwards. Shit only got fukt up when the man and woman I was staying with started trading the gift cards for crack and meth and we couldn't pay for rent or groceries, which is when I got the fuck outta there. haha
don't shoplift from target, they are insane about catching thiefs. cameras, secret shoppers, profiling people who look like they might steal....it's a bad idea. good place to steal: bath and body works! i used to work at one, and it's crazy. if we saw someone steal something, we weren't even supposed to accuse them of anything! we were just supposed to pester them out of the store with customer service. it's store policy not to call mall security, and they don't prosecute. i think victoria's secret and the limited have the same policy, because they are all under the same brand.
When I steal shit from a store like that with the detectors, I either just take what it is I'm taking out of the box and ditch the box somewhere close by, or I stuff the shit in my pocket, go into the bathroom and unwrap it or whatever, and throw away the evidence and walk out. I like stealing unless it's from a person (unless I really dislike them), or a ma&pa store. I just made another thread just like this too in the random thoughts section lol.
Top Notch Stoner you'll like this one, it's basically a better version of what you're doing because you can use it to steal any item no matter how large bevause you never need to sneek them out of the store plus they're easier to return because sometime they won't let you do it your way if you don't have a reciet. I used to do it all the time with PS2s and shit when they first came out and made thousands of dollars a week. You go to a KMart or something and buy one (legitimatly) then return to the store take one off the shelf and go return it with your old receit (with the old one sitting at home or in your trunk safely getting ready to be mailed out on ebay). = WIN Also greenhell is right, I used to work at a supermarket and we'd always get blamed for shrink because shit was missing and they refused to hire a security guard (as a result a % was taken out of our pay) one time I saw some punk (not so different from myself ironicly) stealing a shitload of cough medicine (he must have been sick *COUGH COUGH*) and I tackled his ass and took it out of the pockets. I lost my job and almost got arrested for assault. Kid got off scott free. Moral of the story life sucks ass and if you can't beatem' joinem'
