actually its happening more and more everyday. As countries develop they naturally produce less offspring to the point where places like italy and Japan have negative growth.

What we need to do is eleminate poverty and increase the standard of living. while trying to reduce consumption in countries like the United States and Great Britain.

Overpopulation will sort itself out, as soon as countries like China and India start to stabilize

 

how would you continue the human species? if you gave this as a mandate to all newborn males?

yeah youre absolutely right but China and India are closer/have bigger populations than individual African countries. Those two countries are going to make the biggest change on that scale.

I say neuter baby boys when they are newborn so they will not be able to reproduce and also they won't know any better. I really don't think there is a better option other than colonizing another planet, which is far-fetched.
