I too nursed wherever I was with my children whether that was a restaurant or mall. I was only ever given smiles of approval by passerby's. Many times most people pass by without even realizing that you are nursing. I even nursed on flights with businessmen beside me. One even asked if he could help get me more comfy... he had two children himself. I'm in Canada and perhaps there is a cultural difference. I do hear of situations in the news around here still, but not too often. My children's health is worth much more than someone else's mild discomfort.
Yeah I didn't get it either. Especially since in most restaurants I've been to they have baby areas for you. They have these at some of the indoor shopping centres too. This is the best idea. :cheers2:
yeah why not, i see nothing wrong in it. if the mother wishes to to do so, then it is all her choice.
My mom was telling me that this guy we know saw a friend of hi holding her baby and he leaned in to give the baby a kiss. It wasn't until he stood back up that he realized she was breast feeding. To this day he has no idea if it was really the baby he kissed. I don't see any problem with it. It's not being done for voyeuristic purposes. People need to quit being so sensitive about stupid stuff like this. Freakin' prude ass people.
