Nah... I knew someone who knew someone :)afro:) who rented cheap trailers, some sketchy guy dipped out without paying, and left an ingram smg, i think (not sure which one), with suppressor, under the bed... semi auto, i believe... but still a fucking smg. The guy wanted 500 for it, which could be a good or horrible deal, i wouldn't know. I think it's not worth that much, but by name recognition, he probably got that much.

There's just guns everywhere. And so you want an smg... you can turn pistols to auto... Some of them just do it by them selves, like old 1911's, as they wear. You can't control a class of gun that's even slightly related to one that people can get, without still havening just as many out there.

On this note, last night I was reading about ruby ridge and the waco siege... what the FUCK? and all because some disgruntled ex member said "well they could make these full auto...even they're totally legal, just like every other rifle in the country of this sort".... THAT shit is what gun laws do.

I'm reposting my post from the other thread because it's relevant, good, and my ego is beyond huge.

Annnnnd, D.C. until last year if you remember had a complete and total ban on guns and yet has by far the highest crime rate. Should've looked into that more. You'll also notice the chart follows basically a correlation of the poorest states. Then you have Vermont and Alaska, two states, both very rural, both that have absolutely no restrictions on concealed carry, on opposite sides of the list. As well we New Hampshire which is probably the most libertarian state on this side of the country.

And what bogus info are you talking about? I'm sorry if you don't like the fact it's true but violent crime beginning in 1993 began falling like a rock, and in the past 20 years almost all states have changed their laws to allow concealed carry for everyone on demand.
Going back to the list, Kansas, SD, ND, Nebraska, Utah, Iowa, and going more to the left, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Maine, Oregon, Washington, all have very high rates of gun ownership yet are on the bottom half of the list. Blue state in presidential elections =/= anti gun in the US.
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv...ownership.html

Fun fact, CCW holders are actually less likely than the general public to commit crime, including gun crime, for example, from crime ridden Florida

Again, maybe it's just possible that gun legislation one way or the other that guns have no correlation to gun crime. Otherwise the evidence seems to point towards when gun laws are relaxed gun crime goes down.

    *edit*
The US also comparatively to other nations has a high homicide by knife rate. Considering I doubt our cutlery ownership rate is any different than say Canada or any other western nation, should we start restricting knives too?

I'd also be curious to see the breakdown in what type of firearm death it was. Fun fact, most firearm deaths are not homicides in the US, they're suicides.

    • Homicide: 11,624 / 39% of All Fatalities
    • Suicide: 16,750 / 57% of All Fatalities
    • Unintentional Death (Accidental): 649 / 2% of All Fatalities
    http://washingtonceasefire.org/resou...ath-statistics

Ironically on that note, the US suicide rate is actually actually rather average.

I just don't think the answer to violence is more violence. It's like watching a bunch of monkeys in the zoo fling dung at eachother.

Why? Your life is improving. You'll be enjoying school shortly, you have family and people who care about you. Enjoy the love that people show you and enjoy showing it back towards them. Life is love. Love is everything. It's inescapable and omnipresent. Love feels good and people love you. Might as well embrace it.

I suck at school, my family cares about me but discourages me from going to the mental hospital when I really need to go, maybe it will all change for the better, only time will tell.

Mental hospitals often fuck people way worse... and then when something happens or they feel like controlling your life more, they just say "well they where in a mental hospital" and bust out the straitjacket... It's not fair, but life's not fair.... For example, if you where wrongly attacked and brutalized by police officers, they could say what whatever the fuck they wanted, and over emphesize that you'd been in a mental hospital, and they would get off scott free by painting you as violently deranged...

If you really need it, go for it. But understand that especially state run or cheap/free mental hospitals will probably hurt more than they will help.

You're probably only be a little rusty at school. You can hardly expect anything else considering you've been out of school for some time. Plus the whole point about school is that it's a learning process. If you're making a lot of mistakes that must mean you're learning something as well. We only learn from our mistakes.

Regardless of where your family wants you to go, they still care about you no doubt. Sometimes family members might just be unsure of what to say in certain situations. I've been there many times, believe me. Many times. Being left without knowing what to say can be extremely awkward and uncomfortable. They may just be afraid of the environment of a hospital and you can't blame them. But that's all semantics.

Things will change for the better. Everything always gets better. Life is an upwards spiral that builds upon itself. All life, all energy moves upwards, infinitely. Each level is a new point of personal evolution in which we have something to learn.

its possible that when burnt goes to the mental hospital, he has move control over himself and his family has less control over him. I could be wrong..

Exactly. You're not out of reach, you're just a little unfamiliar.

I recently took up playing the guitar again. It's the same thing. I recognize it, I just have a harder time remembering chord shapes and patterns. It takes time to learn these things over again.

Burnt.... Given your language and signature, I think you need to concentrate of not getting off to hurting yourself... doesn't seem to just be uber depression, or whatnot...

Just my douchebaggy forumgoer observation, don't worry about it, i'm sure you know much more about your problems than I do.

I realize everyone needs help now and again, but you can often give yourself that help.

There are a million good reasons why guns should be outlawed.

All the same, they serve as a last line of defence and I believe it's better to have a gun and not need one than to need a gun and not have one. It's a power that can be terribly abused, but those with power often find ways to abuse the weak. I'd rather not be abused, thank you.

Be careful saying shit like that. I know you're bummed and depressed, but one day that can change, but the fact you said it doesn't change. Then say you're a happy, life-loving person, things have changed, life is good, you're finally happy, but someone comes out of the blue and murders you. You know how easy it is to play the suicide defense? I do, I watched a murderer walk free and a family's world shattered. Get help, the sooner the better. And watch what you say and who you say it to, because you bet your ass it'll be brought up later on.

Guns will not be outlawed in the u.s. anytime soon, if they do i'm sure there will be a revolution.

My father owns a jewelry store and makes everything he sells. I can just imagine what his business would be like without a gun around! All you ANTI-GUNNERS read this, many small business's rely on guns to keep there products and money in there hands. There is NO WAY a jewelry store could survive without proper protection. I can see it now, the robber comes in with a gun tells owner to put everything in a bag and leaves town - 400,000 in the trunk and a free man now. I'm sure that would go over really well!
Sure some stores are right in the center of town but some
stores are on side streets and not in the " eye" of police.
With the surge in people selling gold there are many junkies and weirdos that come into the stores i'm sure to sell there gold. Fortunetly these "gun" wielding citizens prob don't buy from them.

Not to mention the police aren't going protect you liek they used to back in the early 2000's because police are getting let go left and right with the economy running down. Our town only has one policeman on duty at a time and only 2 total!!
