Should I call the manager?

sorry but for customer service jobs, you need to not offend the clientele.

i dont think bella should be tryign to get the chick fired, but if shes already on comfy speaking terms with the manager why not mention that she said some things that came across as insulting. at least give the manager a heads up. may be that hte manager is looking for an excuse to fire her anyway and just needs an official customer complaint to get her obnoxious butt out of there. maybe shell get a warning and smarten up a little. i still think the manager deserves a heads up, without making it out to be a big deal

I had to talk to the manager once.

I was as this relatively fancy restaurant, had a pretty good time, blah blah blah... meal ends and the waitress brings back the check and overcharges us like 40$ on it or some ridiculous amount. She then proceeded to argue with me, trying to tell me that I had eaten two full steak platters, and just doesn't back down even though I'm all nice to her. I keep on being nice to her, but she calls me an asshole and storms off refusing to take the charge off my ticket.

I was kind of baffled at that point.

Manager was all apologetic and didn't charge me for the entire meal.

...and I still felt kinda bad about having to talk to the manager... but... damn.

Sorry, I was in the middle of phone calls and such....so didn't get this post on here in a timely manner. I see much has happened since then....
but here it is anyway



Whatever, I don't know why you made a thread about if you should call when you have already decided.

I haven't time for this right now....I just was trying to appeal to your sense of compassion. You have no idea what was in her head, you have no idea how she meant it, or what is going on in her life.....but to feel so self justified in being 'wronged' is just crazy to me. You have just spend 'x' amount of time on this...and i have given mine as well.

Right now I am planning to go to MD because I found out my grandmother had a stroke on SUnday, a heartattack yesterday, has pnemonia w/ tubes down her throat to feed her. When she comes to and has enough strength to leave the hospital, she will be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life.
My parents just lost their pet of 15 years.
My other grammy in Md just lost her pet of 15 years/my parents pet's sister.

All these people mourn because they hurt for valid reasons right now.

Life is no picnic....and you just roll with it. I've had someone tell me for 15 minutes before that I was not old enough to have a child and that I should be ashamed of myself....15 fuckin minutes I listened....and then when they were done I showed them my license showing I was 27 years old....and then went so far as to tell them that they had no right what so ever to speak to me like that. That they did not know what was in my life...perhaps I had been raped, perhaps I was gonna die and wanted to have a kid. come on....just deal with her and tell her she's fucking retarded and you take offense. Dont go playing tattle tale. you are bigger than that. I know you are.

I know, but telling the manager isn't worth making anyone I care about the least bit unsetteled.
If she says something to me like that again I'll say something to her.

 

If she says something again.....go out to good will and buy her the biggest most disgusting pants you have ever seen and tell her that when you saw them you knew they were perfect for her....that you just knew they would fit her fat ass and her ugly personality

 

I don't see how you can complain about an employee if you didn't even say anything.

It's like the people who used to call in at my jobs about perceived poor service. Half the time if they had mentioned something to anyone things would have been sorted out. Like if you got the wrong food, didn't say anything, went home, and called. We would have given you a refund or the right food if you weren't such a pussy and had brought it to our attention. But now you're out of our hair so we'll say what we need to say to get you off the phone.

And to call in a he said she said complaint is futile. The employee will always get the benefit of the doubt, not to mention the final word, because you're not actually there.
