    My two cents:
I would go. I dont like to live at home. And you have to move out eventually, where you will miss your family. Texas sounds sweet. If you cannot find jobs in alabama, I would go. Also, I skipped my family skating christmas party today. So I probably feel differently than you

I understand that, but sometimes you have to make decisions even if you aren't totally sure about it.

And keep in mind that by not making a decision, you are ultimately making a decision.

I wouldn't stress so much over it now and put a lot of pressure on yourself. If you don't feel right about it, think about it some more. You can always get a greyhound ticket and ride down later.

Alabama's prettier than it is up here (well, I only know from pictures)...but I don't live in the part of Texas you're looking at. Texas is insane, it's like a small country within itself.

Dude! You live in Alabama! They hate hippies and gays more there than here in Texas!

Alabama is soooo pretty. I'm glad I decided to stay, at least for now. Thanks again for all replies. :)

I think you made an alright decision because it seems like it would be uncomfortable living around your sister's husband
