hey i thought I'd like to share the origin of the nose ring..in India, it was, in the left nostril, supposed to aid in pain with such feminine things such as childbirth and periods...because in their medicine world the left nostril and female reproductive system were connected...I think that's it.

I have had mine done 8 times....with a gun every time (i know, bad mama). The first time was when I was 14. The reason for 8 times was that I kept changing jobs and a bunch would tell me to take it out. The last time i got it done was when I was 16 or 17 and I've had it ever since. I don't know what it feels like to have a real professional do it, but I know with the gun, the shot scared me (once I kicked the lady doing it) and then my eyes would water due to the nerves (honest, i wasn't crying, lol). It was sore for a day or two, but then felt fine.
I've always loved them, I think that they're gorgeous on almost everyone.

 

Why not do it?? You can always take it out later. My nose piercing hurt less than my ears.

 

YAY... we will have our noses pierced on the same sidee=)
