I collect frogs.... they are so mellow looking.
Went to the zoo in DC years ago and saw some beautiful bright cobalt blue and fire engine red poisonous frogs....

it is said if you lick the back of one of these posion frogs it will get you extreamly high..but how would you get your tongue that close to a posion frog..Teepi.. I started really diggin' frogs about two yrs ago when the first one moved in.he lived in my kitchen for two yrs..I put them out but they come right back in.. so I share my kitchen with them..when it rains they chirp or whatever that sound is they make.. but you know.. I feel safer when I see them watchin' me.. one ili bitty one sits on top of a stained bottle I have in the window.. he/she perches it's self there looking out over the whole room.... it's so small you'd never notice it unless someone ointed it out to them.. my 11 yr old Grd Daughter use to walk around with the old frog perched on her finger like a bird..it was so cool..she collects frogs too.. live ones and artifactual.. frogs frogs frogs.. hey I wrote a poem about frogs a few yrs ago.. maybe I'll post it some day..I think I have it posted in poetry.com ..not sure tho.. anyway.. here's ta frogs.. <(^-^)>

lol....no doubt Speaking of collecting frogs, Shameless..my son is 5, and he loves them but is scared of them. Kinda like..ohhh commere..noooo ..go away..lol Scares the hell outta him when they jump or something..it's pretty funny. At least I'll never have to worry about finding one in his pocket during laundry.....

We have a runoff right behind our house where thee hills come together, part of the year the water runs all the time and it stayes full with shallow water, in the spring the peepers go nuts. There is a bull frog that is there every year too and I love to hear him.
Now that I know we;re not going to sell this place, I want to put in a pond, put 2 in my old place, and really miss them.

Once we had 2 wild ducks land in our backyard, this was Portsmouth Va. and they stayed for a few days having a grand time in my small pond. They did manage to kill 1 of my Koi's though and it stayed hidden for days till it finally floated out from the overhang in there.

Man O man, the place REEKED....I thought it was the dumpster for the apt. across the back alley...but NOOOOOO it was My yard...had to drain the pond....lol

Damn, you just never know where these crazy conversations/threads will go do ya???

From nudity to dead fish smelling....uh oh, gonna leave that one ALONE!!

I dont blame you I ain't touchin' it either..hehe..but I do know what it's like to have ponds.. we have three on the farm.. two for the livestock and one for stocking catfish and crappie and them red eared perch.. we have a bullfrog too.. he must weigh 6 lbs.. he sit in the pond with his round eyes peeping over the water..
    Light always chases away darkness..
