    That's rubbish, the scumbag 'nasty party' have been sending out test kits in the post and yes some pubs are insisting on testing before entering the pub.

    Not in the US, at least in New York State. The only restriction was it was reserved for "essential employees." But now that isn't a requirement anymore. You just have to make an appointment at most places.

    Over her you cannot just rock up and have a test, you either have to be an NHS worker or have symptoms

    Emergency Workers within my locale do have a capacity to get tested - although many of those who could, and perhaps should - can't be bothered.
