Eyeheartchrist was a big influence on what method I was to use when starting my dreads.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qm721xshZAE"]YouTube- My Dreadlock Journey: Three Months

These are what I think the best dreads started out as... When they are down to my collar bone they will be the perfect length for me. I know its not a picture but I haven't any that really show my dreads, sorry.

Why are they perfect? 1. there mine 2. no wax 3. neglect method

What about mine?? I dont like the look of'TOO PERFECT' looking dreads. Different sizes, shapes, lumps, bumps and sqiugles are what make dreads look good and have lots of personality. I think everyone has there own opinion on what they think is 'perfect' set of dreads. Just like the perfect body etc... Anyhoo the sig is me in 2011:) T here are a few dreads on the back of my head that I've slept on and overtime they just TOTALLY morphed into curly sqiugly looking funny dreads..lol I think those are my favourite !

Jeesh well SHE(assuming she is a female) looks alot better then I did when I was Goth.. Jesus Murphy! I swear I'v been looked at ALL my life for looking wierd and acting even wierder..:cuss: and now with my dreadlocks and all...when will it end? I just try to ingore people and look at them like they are being SO rude. Ive had my dreads for 6 years and people STILL look at me. I NEVER see anyone look at a BLACK DUDE if HE has em' or a Black girl who straightens her hair like a white person!..it Goes both ways..so WHY is it any different I have dreads. Personally I consider myself VERY creative and I'm always thinkning of different ways to show it. I THINK People are ignorant especailly to other people who look well..not like everyone else..lol
    anyways SORRY about my rant!...

In my opinion perfect dreadlocks have a personality about them. They aren't all "perfect" they have kinks and loopies and weird little ends. These imperfections make absotively perfect dreads in my head. I've got one I've named zsazsa with a wonky little crab claw end and loops all the way down. But the thing about dreads is they never look quite the same, even just from day to day and that's what makes it such a commitment! You need to love your dreads and just let them do what they do :D

compared to actual fat locks on a jamaican, white people dreads, especially blondes look horrible. Thats only in comparison. The best looking locks I saw were on this 6ft4 Jamaican guy, one in particular, was down to his ass, about an inch thick, but it was like 5 inches wide flat like a pancake, coolest dread ever.

I used to look like that! I was a RaveGoth. I still have the goggles too.. I made my own dread falls also. Made them out of all sorts of different materials...I got TONS of looks with that. Some guy came up to me and asked if I accidently fell in the shredder): stupid small church going town thats what this is!)): Screw that..THATS why I want to get out of here!..lol
