Ditto. For those of us who like doing work outside, it's essential to have somewhere to store outside tools!
Wow. That's a pretty sheddy looking shed! Throw some paint on it That's what I plan on doing with ours!
from what i can gather...canadians keep garden tools,shovels....maybe the lawn mower in these sheds down in dixieland they apparently make their house guests sleep in the shed...this seems strange to me...i let my house guests sleep inside the house people with many house guests build a ''bunkie'' which is a tiny cottage i am building a bunky to banish my son to
Haha Rollin. I dare you to make him sleep in it for a week!! Yeah, some ppl make a building for their in-laws to stay in. I live in dixieland - we keep our tools in our shed!
mine is full of mechanic tools...i dont do much yardwork lol i only use the lawnmower when i have to test run one i fixed :afro:
i actually have 2 drive sheds on the perimeter of my property that belong to the farmer...they are both full of old farm crap and a rusted out mecedes sedan...they are at least 50 years old and very rustic looking and badley...this is not the chat thread...do i really need to remind you of that again? i will not hesitate to go over your head...to your mom in the kitchen over your bedroom
My Shed Is A Shipping Container Which I Have Painted, Plumbed, Wired, Multiple Compressed Air Outlets, Fitted Steel Shelving, Steel Workbenches, Heating, Cooling, Double Tube Flouro Lighting, TV Suspended From The Roof With A Swivel Mount, CD FM Stereo, Whirly Bird In Which I Inserted An Exhaust Fan For Ventilation In Calm Weather..etc etc.. I Can Do Everything In There Like Drilling, Milling, Metal Polishing, Pressing But I Need To Step Outside To Do Serious Welding, All Those Sparkes Flying Around Are Just Too Much Of A Fire Risk. I Love My Shed... Cheers Glen.
Sounds nice Glen. Hope to plumb ours one day. We will be working on it tomorrow. If it gets anything interesting done I'll add some more pics.
A lot of people don't think females can operate machinery... I love power tools!!! THAT'S why I need a shed!
Funny you should say that about your shed being a container Glen, coz I was at Alconbury truckstop a few weeks ago and Frank, who runs the truckwash showed me how he's getting along with his. I knew he was making up temp accommodation out of a container-but behind the truckwash are hidden 2 double-stacked 40' containers in which he's installed everything a house would have. Shower,tv room, kitchen, bedrooms[two]dining room-even windows. Bloody amazing-he's even got fake beams running across the ceiling,a fireplace[gas] and every room has 13 amp powerpoints. That is a cracking bit of work Frank's done there.
A Few Years Back They Started Converting Them For Accomodation For Students In The Docklands Area Of The UK, I Don't Know Wether The Program Is Still Going, But Unless You Noticed The Ribs On The Outside You Would Never Know What They Were Originally... Cheers Glen.
