yeah, i found out about that video a year ago, its so cool, but just a month ago by random chance in the music store i came across a psychadelic dvd with goa trance... in 3D! nice to check out, its Voyage Into Trance, by Oakenfold. (also prolly THE goa trance comp ever!) ( 3 tunes composed by shpongle man simon, and 3 more by friends who worked with him too...) and the 3d glasses it comes with are different from your normal "3D" glasses, besides making the dvd 3D, theyll distort your perceptions of anyting colorful in real life...

 

Hey guys thats a cool video. I saw it at my friends house a few months ago. I listen to trance/psy almost always now cause i just started to discover it over this summer. I guess I appreciate it more cus I tripped for the first time this summer lol. I got an old Sphongle mix (dont know the name, just a mix) and some other ones that are awesome to listen to . Yo- Voyage into Trance is sick too- my friend bought it and we listened to the whole thing almost ! I gota get it and more cus im addicted to this infectious music.

 

Also check younger brother out, another Simon Posford project, kinda a cross between Shpongle and Hallucinogen.

My favorite Shpongle song EVER is Crescent Suns. It has got to be the sexiest song I have ever heard. My second favorite song by Shpongle is Once Upon the Sea of Blissful Awareness. Just the name of that song says it all. Then Divine Moments of Truth. I have all their music and love it anytime.

 

Shpongle has changed my life numerous ways. They're just an all around good feeling kind of music. They have a unique sound. They will always be known by me and will be etched into my life forevor. Favorite songs, it's more like favorite albums because their albums are complete movements. Nothing Lasts ... But Nothing Is Lost is a great movement. Are You Shpongled? of course is genius in all aspects. The songs like My Head Feels Like a Frisbee and Divine Moments of Truth are just good to chill to. For me, I don't HAVE to do drugs to know good music unlike everyone else on here. I'm a lot different than yall.

Shpongle played in New Jersey and Philly on 12/30 & 12/31... anyone go?? It was Hallucinogen, Shpongle, Younger Brother, The Disco Biscuits, DJ ?uestlove from the Roots and DJ Si-B from Twisted Records.

 

Gotta love reviving an old topic. Who has the new Shpongle album? Who thinks it's amazing?? Shpongle is STILL my favorite of anything electronic. Peace and love!!

edit: this album is fantastic. it's hard to expect shpongle to be nearly perfect yet again on their fourth cd but they deliver every time.

 

The new Shpongle album is brilliant, but a different approach to what I was expecting.

I especially love the tracks 'Electroplasm' and 'Shpongolese Spoken Here'.

 

Yes mate I am a huge Eat Static fan. Down to one member now, but still well on form. Excellent music, through and through.

 

Posford just announced he is going on tour playing Shpongle sets in the US! hello NYC!

 

Favortie songs are "Divine Moments of Truth", "A New Way To Say Hooray", and "Room 23" also i like the song "Mentalism". many times have i tripped and listen to those songs. i also really like Bassnectar there music is so uplifting and easy to listen to

 

I've been listening to Shpongle for a while now. Ineffable Mysteries from Shpongleland is a really good listen. I love how they have a new approach to their music every album release... reminds me of The Beatles.
