i don't know. i wish i could remember which one i had. i'm so bad at remembering albums and what's on them, lol... especially when it's nonsensical language. do you have a recommendation?
i have a day without rain. but i have to make mixed cds for massage if i use enya, because some of her songs she sings in english (which isn't as relaxing) and some of her songs are really not very relaxing. but yeah, i'm trying to compile a collection of very relaxing music that is good at putting people to sleep, kinda newagey sounding, with no english lyrics... it's tougher than it sounds, lol!
I wouldn't even know where to start, to be honest. I'm sure there is somewhere that sells cd's that are made just for your purpose, though. Not to say that you should use them, but that they might provide some inspiration or a few names of artists you could look into. I'm sure you'd rather have your practice be 100% your own.
yeah... i've gotten a few... but they're boring. i think it's the energy or something. it's what you're SUPPOSED to have as a massage therapist. well i'm not any old massage therapist, biotch! lol i'm definetly gonna get some sigur ros though.
Actual passion for what you do. My god. You're a different breed indeed. Bit of a breath of fresh air. I'm sure there'll be posters that'll pm you recommendations based on what you've written here. Whether they're any good or not is a different story. As far as Sigur Ros goes, Agaetis Byrjun is the best. I'd totally love to get rubbed down to that cd.
I saw Sigur Ros this summer in Mexico, if you have the oportunity to listen them alive, go. they ARE GREAT! and have a nice show
they are excellent. so chill, beautiful, and refreshing...especially with all this PopPunk and generic radio alternative. Untitled 3 is brilliantly simple...
Untitled 3 always reminded me of a love song. The great thing about that album ( ) was that the vocals were all in a made up language lovingly called "hopelandic". I've always loved the idea of having an album of songs where each one can mean something completely different to any listener. I've been a fan for about 4 years now, first listening to Agaetis Byrjun in high school and it still ranks on my top favorite albums of all. They sing in Icelandic pretty much with every song these days, with the occasional snippet of "yousailo's". What's a yousailo? Well that's hopelandic for whatever you want, my friend!
i love them. Listening to them puts me in a trance of complete calm. Ágætis byrjun is my favorite album. Svefn-g-englar, Ný batterí, Njósnavélin, Samskeyti are my favorite songs. Oh man. They are the epitome of far out.
