Brainwash the viewers? That's bullcrap he's explaining a story about what the life of a poser is about, and he FULLY explained how he was a poser too. I shouldn't have had to say that twice. The movie is meant to be a reflection on the life of silly posers with no moral objective and how humorous it is in a natural sense. It wasn't meant to be revolved around your close-minded arrogance, so of course you wouldn't like it. Just my thoughts.
i think there was also a sense of sarcasm involved in the whole film. i mean it was a statement in itself. saying that he was just a couple of posers all along. this coupled with the whole explanation of chaos and order. i think that just reinforces that maybe he's trying to say punks are posers, and vice versa. just like brandi explained, and how mike lived.....it's not what you wear or how you walk, talk, or whatever you listen to.... rebellion. you either have it or you don't. it's a way of being, a way of thinking. not your hair dye, or your punky clothes.
