I can't find what the profane message was...right-wing media censorship I suppose. Any idea what it said?
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/mont...l-currency-in-quebec-s-gaspé-region-1.3207027 this is really interesting. 1st thing is that the Gaspé region is a really poverty stricken region in Canada. It is like during the Great Depression, Manitoba was the first place to come out of the depression, because people there stopped using legal tender and made deals. Ie, a hammer for 10 potatoes. Gaspé is the only place doing it and are making their own form of exchange. It is only for local businesses and local people. Canada has no poverty rate. check out this chart if interested

I almost did a polar plunge this year. I even trained in the shower haha, tried to learn to regulate my breathing in freezing cold water. But when I signed up I figured it would be a 60 degree February day because that's the new normal, but it ended up being in the 30s that day. So, nope.
According to the article one can be a "virtual plunger", lol. Guess I'd do that and watch everyone else freeze.
Is there that many clogged toilets in the world at any given time? When people say the world's gone to shit, they really mean it
They have several of those annual polar-plunges around here, some years the temps are hovering around zero degrees and other years the temps are in the 40s (which is hardly polar) and seems quite disingenuous

Cancelled because of the weather, not the other thing. "The only thing Metropolis wants flying over the city is Superman. Not a 20 foot inflatable colon," said a spokesperson for the Southern Seven Health Department. West Kentucky Star - News
