my boyfriend smokes but fortunately not many a day he also chews alot of minty gum so i don't have to kiss an ash tray, bleugh.
i hate smoking, but somehow i do find him smoking sexy

 

As someone who finally broke a 30 year addiction to them, someone who lost his mother and several friends to lung cancer and smoking, let me say smoking is not sexy. If I'm walking down the street and and I see a really attractive woman, I smile. And then when she lights up I feel the bile rising in my throat...

 

smokingh only looks cool or sexy in movies. in real life however no way. the smell, gives me a mando headache and makes my eyes hurt. smoking ciggaretts is my #1 turn off in real life

 

My gf loves me for who I am, not for what I smoke. Smoking habits are parts of who I am, it's not negative or positive and it doesn't make me a bad person for that. When you really love someone, even things you don't like become sexy.

 

although that may be true. i could not have an initial reaction, or fall in love with someone who could intentionaly damage there body, and in turn mine like that. you are not a bad person no one who smokes is, but really i just could not be attracted to that ever. there are far too many negatives surrounding tobacco

 

Well, the title of this thread is "Smoking CAN be sexy"-yea, it COULD be if it didn't kill people, which it does-I had a couple of close friends that died recently at very early ages of diseases that were caused by smoking-a total waste of their lives. Nothing sexy about that.

 

You may think it looks sexy, but then go to kiss the person after they've lit up. Ugh.

 

Despite your bad experiences, in actual fact some people do find smoking extremely attractive. It's not in your own tastes but to state 'smoking is not sexy' is wrong.

 

hey Bat-Girl, that is a sexy smoking picture, i can tell that even with the colors on my computer all sorts of screwed up. smoking can be sexy and often is at least to me, guess i have don't have the aversion to kissing a smoker since i smoke myself. and i am so thankfull that Johnny Depp makes smokin' look that damn sexy. part of what turns me on about women smoking is the way they do it, some just make it look better than others.

I remember when my ex-boyfriend would smoke...It was the hottest thing ever. It gave me a sinus infection from hell, but holy shit...I couldn't tell him not to smoke around me. He just looked so damn good doing it.

My boyfriend now...well, he smokes, but I've seen it so many times and nearly died from headaches so many times, it's just...blah. Sort of annoying everytime he lights up.

But ohhhh that pic of Johnny Depp up there...is so incredibly hot.

There's nothing sexy about getting LUNG CANCER.
There's nothing sexy about getting HEART DISEASE.
There's nothing sexy about getting a STROKE.
There's nothing sexy about being ADDICTED TO NICOTINE -- which is a more difficult drug to kick than ALCOHOL, HEROIN, COCAINE and SPEED combined.


Yet you can get any one of these from long-term smoking.


AND there's nothing sexy about non-smokers being forced to breathe the poisons exhaled from smokers indoors -- despite the fact that non-smokers are an 80 percent majority of the population in the U.S. and Canada.


Smoking is most definitely NOT sexy. On the contrary, it's GROSS! I refuse to date anyone who's a smoker -- or, as I prfer to call them, a nicotine junkie.
