Smoking DMT w/ Light Bulb

You keep the flame some distance away... NEVER touching... when the stuff burns, it tastes like crap... it evaporates long before 100C, so you just need to pass some moderately hot air through it while takeing your drag. The unsmoked xtals tend to become liquid right after the smoke and then proceeds to recrystalise. Once you took your hit, you can just put everything down, or hand it over to a friend to take your seconds.

 

I like the taste of 5-meo-dmt, is N,N, DMT worse?

I hadn't smoked 5-meo-dmt in over 6 years, and when I took that first hit this past weekend, I totally remembered that taste. And I liked it.

 

Allthough my sense of smell is screwed by years of smokeing, I would say that there is very little taste, and smell to cleanly vaped, non-burned DMT.

The first time you start tasteing it is when you start comming down, when you start tasteing it in the back of your throat, your trip is about to end.

If you have not done DMT before, reserve your opinion untill you did it a few times...

I want to use the example of fake blotters, if you ever had a fake blotter with a group of friends and everyone "tripped" until one guy said he's not realy feeling anything, and then everyone checks themselves, and die die rie, the "trip" stops. Its called the placebo effect... it is based on what we carry into the experience...in the form of expectaions, hopes and fears... So there is a bit of us we carry into a new experience like this that is hard to tell appart from the substance's own effects (which in my opinion is just unending love, acceptance and universal intelligence).

After a few experiences with the same substance under differing set and setting, we get a feel for what it is we brought in, and what is the pure essence of the experience...

 

You know it's pretty rude to tell someone on an open speach forum to reserve thier opinion. Maybe you should reserve yourself to somewhere else. I didn't even have an opinion, I was asking a question about the taste of DMT.

5 meo dmt smoke smells like blueberry candy, a very sweet smell. Definitely not anything like that odd, pleasantly weird smell that DMT, DPT, DiPT and AMT all have in common.

 

what kind of steel wool are you supposed to use for the machine? does any kind work as long as its pretty coarse and you burn it to get chemicals off?

and let me know if this bottle would work


i got one in my fridge and it looks like it'd work fine. its about 6 inches tall. and how much steel wool would i put in the neck of it?

 

Nah mang these are the kinds of questions you must ask to do this right . You can stop holding the flame there once you see copious vapor coming out of the powder. It's just like smoking herb; you don't have to hold the lighter there the whole time you're inhaling. After the first few seconds, you've added enough heat to the physical system that you can sustain the reaction with just moving air.

Yeah I have pipescreens already for my bubbler. I just received this device tonight, will smoke some dmt later tonight or at least pot.

 

Im actually just gonna do the sandwich method tomorrow with some MJ. i'll let you guys know how it goes

 

the shotgun pipe was AMAZING. ONE HIT got me so shpongled that i could hear the metallic insect drone of the energy that maintains reality, and lights kaleidoscoped instantly into blooms of color that spiraled into all dimensions. dmt = mushroom crack.

I see now why this design is unique and powerful; the wider mouthpiece allows a MUCH greater airflow through the ignition area. I eyeballed a little dmt, probably around 30-40mg, onto about half a bowl of largely kief and kiefy plant matter (stuff stuck in the filter of my grinder). I am sold on this device big time. This is a great way to smoke your shit.

That's it....convection is much better then conduction for DMT.
It tastes much better and vaporizes much more quickly, so you can actually get a full dose. I couldn't agree with your technique more.

 

I pretty much got the whole dose in my first inhalation, I was not prepared for that lol. Normally it steams lazily in the freebase pipe and it takes multiple slow harsh inhalations to get there . . . with this, it's like, hold on tight, inhale, BOOOM

shotgun pipe ftw. having a glass one makes it so sexy when you see the stem become completely opaque with white steamy magic rushing into your lungs.

well my first DMT experience was fucking fantastic! I'm not gonna really bother trying to explain it right now, maybe some other time, but i just used a bowl and did the sandwich method.
