Smoking while Preg?

Now hopefully, for your baby's sake, it'll all be fine. My mom (from the sounds of it) did lots of stupid things while she was pregnant, and although I have suffered with ADD, I've grown out of that now and am finally doing well with schooling and things like that.

But then - my mom is sort of a douche...

 

THAT WAS WAY OUTTA LINE! I NEVER ONCE SAID I WOULD BLOW SMOKE IN MY CHILDS FACE THAT IS SO DIFFERENT!
An no I dont blow smoke in my pets face ok? I fucking work at a animal clinic!

 

Maybe I'm wrong but I remember that fact being stated a couple times on a previous thread.

 

listen i dont do crack or meth or drink, i dont trip and i dont huff.
I smoke weed and i smoke cigs every once in awhile.
Alot of peoples parents did drugs while preg. Alot of them are fine.
But think 97.6% of birth defects are non drug related.

This is NOT different from blowing smoke in a child's face. In fact, it's worse. Not only are you taking smoke into your lungs, but you are letting concentrated amounts of smoke-related carcinogens DIRECTLY INTO YOUR BABY'S LUNGS. Grow up a little bit, quit whining because we're hurting your feelings, be an adult, and do what's good for your child. Seriously, ignorance isn't an excuse. You KNOW you're doing wrong by your child. Grow up a little bit and sacrifice your wants for your child's needs.

We're just a bunch of people you've never met! This isn't about denying you your weed or anything!

It's about the FACT that you asked about this - thus meaning you thought that there was something wrong with it enough to ask - and the FACT that you're obviously VERY immature, and God I only hope you've got some really cool parents who are letting you stay with them and will take care of your baby when you have to walk into real life and clean up so you can get a real JOB to support yourself and the new life you're bringing into this world.

honest ok...you might not be a bad person. No one has said that. It is your choice, but its f*cking 2008 man, there has been so much research done on this that you know better.

And we're not trying to dog you, but I honestly thought you wanted HELP when you created this post, that's why I was so intense in my original replies. But now after all 4o+ posts, of which not a single one states that cigarettes are ok, you still think its okay to continue smmoking.

So granted I don't know your essence, so you may not be a bad person...but your making one hell of a bad decision.
