Snow!

Yeah, but it all depends on the frequency in which snow falls. In the highlands I imagine they would laugh at me sitting here in the home counties sitting at home with my 10cm of snow and laugh that everything got cancelled. But this is the first time I've seen snow since I've been here (two years). And people don't really know how to deal with it because they don't have to very often...

It's the same in America. In Minneapolis, they'd laugh at me while they go to work in -30 degree weather with two meters of snow, but in Dallas (where I'm originally from) things shut down when any form of freezing precipitation comes close...they just don't have the capacity to deal with it, and it doesn't happen that often to want to...

So yes, any excuse for a day off, and I'll take it

totally agree with you there autumn blink and you"ll miss it here on merseyside ........a slight scattering .......did go down the park took some photies and fed the ducks ......must be fuckin quackers

 

Lol, my friends have driven from Exeter towards Bristol to try and find some snow. Madness!

well there is slight whiteness on ground after a heavy spell earlier, but has quitened off again. annoying i know the midlands has tons and im so jealous coz i remember the snow when i lived in brum - the biggest flakes of snow i ever saw...was awesome down there. ah well, the kiddies on my street have been having fun playing with snowballs so theres enough for them i spose me, i want my garden covered, so i can go outside an film a short juggling video - not gonna happen however, if it sticks in brum, im probably up there this weekend, could film in a park or something with friends...probably be too lazy by then though hehe

 

just started empty card off in camera called seasons got some alright pictures before ......hopefully go back out about 3.am to take somemore .....hopefully be more snow covered then

 

it snowed loads this morning! was so pretty.
it's all slushy now which is a shame.
did anybody get the day of school/college? i didnt.. every other school in my area did though..

 

i hope its snows loads so buses to work dont run tomorrow... would be happy if i never had to work there ever again...wont happen though...tomorrow back to being pissed off...ahh well. had a nice 2 days off...
