yikes meli sorry you had to go through that. people in most city jobs dont give a shit 66 degrees over here :cheers2: it was marvelous
I'm kinda jealous of your snow. The warmth this far into the year freaks me out a bit.It got a little colder and really windy, so biking was a little more difficult than usual. My calves will be looking good though
yea yesterday was windy as hell. right in my face as i'm pedaling uphill. well i'm just had a few bong rips, bout to have a shower, some breakfast, and then it's out to risk my life again as i do daily, riding my bike in the sreet.
I've been hit by a semi before no joke but it wasn't on a bicycle obv. Someone had my back that day b/c I got out smoked a cigarette while the ambulance is there trying to put me on a stretcher. Bruised the top of my head that was it. Only thing that saved me was him swerving enough not to tbone me directly in the door but rather the front end of my truck, 2 of my friends and I were skipping lunch at school and we all cheated death that day. Makes me not wanna see the new Final Destination
my cousin got hit by two semis. he was driving a minivan on the highway during winter. one semi was passing him, and the back of the semi hit the front end of the van, causing him to spin in circles. the other semi was behind him and then ran into him. someone has his back that day too. he walked away from it, but has a fucked up back now. he can't work, has had one surgery already, another one coming in Jan. and all this shit is tied up in court. the semi driver's were 100% at fault and offered settlements, but his lawyer is going for the maximum. so it will take like 3 years? it's been 2 and to even top that story, both of my parents were hit by a train. they lived, but got pretty messed up. actually not that bad considering it was a TRAIN. that was at an unmarked crossing in the woods..they were panicking cuz my mom had just been stung by a bee and the car stalled. this was before i was born.
