Truly the matter of abortion is a personal matter to be decided by the parties involved. It is an emotional, moral and ethical decision those involved need to make.

First off, you cannot state when a human life truly begins. Is it with the heartbeat or is it when the fetus becomes aware and conscious of itself? To different people, the life begins at different times. The heart doesn't even beat until the 25th day I believe. However for it to sustain itself without medical intervention outside of the womb, this is not possible.

Sitting in judgement of anothers choices is one of the most divisive things you can do. First off there is no knowledge of why someone committed the act. Was there medical problems with the mother, with the fetus? Was the mother in a situation where she could not provide for the child? And if that is the case, perhaps she loves her unborn child even more by letting them go. I can't imagine how nurturing living in a foster home or an orphan is...to see others in families and to have the sadness that you may never have that. Do you think you would think, " Oh gosh, at least she didn't abort me?"

Making a logical argument requires defining something first. And for there to be murder, there needs to be proof that there is life and a definition of what life is to you.


additionally, I want to add that this is the second time I have seen Jesus used in an argument. I am helping a friend with her kiosk in the mall. In a store nearby there was a misunderstanding and the ANGRY lady said to the calm man who was trying to help " DO you know Jesus? You need to know Jesus."

On your second point, you said socializm works? Where? Where has socialism ever worked? NOWHERE!!! Socialism is always a failure. In fact the only issues that I agree with democrats on are the things where government gets in the way; the war on drugs, stem cell research and abortion. I believe the government should get out of all three. Government should basically get out of everything where it is not needed. Government needs to stay out of healthcare, because that is a bad idea and government needs to pull out of public schools so we can properly educate our kids. Cause I don't know about other states, but Tallahassee is failing the children of Florida, where I grew up, and the schools need to be privitized so our students can catch up with the rest of the world.

Greedy fiscal conservatives due tend to get in the way oft times, but that is why there needs to be government regulation of the companies. When the government is actually in control of the services that is when things really get fucked up.

I don't know where you are from Zoomie, but I suspect you have never experienced a society where the government controls certain key services of society. I studied in Spain to learn Spanish, and I was told by many people that Iberia had recently become privitized, and was much better for it. I was born in Australia and recently went back. I worked for a phone company down there just after the phone service went private. Telstra, the state phone company, used to have a monopoly so they could run up the price and they had terrible service. Once it was privitized, they had to clean up their act and have competitive prices or they would go out of business.

Oh, relax. The doctors reckon the fetus don't feel any pain previous to a certain point. They don't know of course, and I'm no expert on obstetrics. But I am going to go ahead and agree with them because the world does not need any more illegitimate babies.

Let me ask you a question; Your little sister or your wife (sorry while I assume you are a man. Please forgive.) or your daughter gets raped and impregnated. Do you support the "murder" of the fetus. Or would you allow the child of that asshole to continue to grow and then be raised by the woman you love. Or another question; You and your wife are trying to have a baby. The doctor discovers during a sonogram that they baby is going to be born with a horrible birth defect. Do you condone the "murder" of this child, or would you prefer to allow it to be born with this defect and live a short, miserable, painful life full of nothing but agony. Now, one more question; A woman with no money gets pregnant. Should we let that child be born into a world of poverty or condemn it to a childhood in the failed foster care system or just abort it and save everyone the trouble? Wouldn't the child and society as a whole be better off if the fetus were just aborted?
