This garbled nonsense is difficult to read. But if I ever went to a rainbow gathering...well...I would never do that shit because I don't like surrounding myself with drainbows that preach about accepting everybody but hiss whenever you have some sort of idea that is relative to 'mainstream' All I was saying is that, as an untrained, unskilled, young American - you are going to find it EXTREEEEMELY difficult to try and uproot and then be granted a longterm stay in any country you mentioned. You're the one perceiving the negativity and shit. And you're the one to always rage...which actually makes me giggle like a school girl. I have a lot of info and viewpoints to share, you just don't like listening to it because it is often dissenting from your position, and you take it as insulting or 'trolling' - which is very similar to the drainbow gathering BS that tries to block out true REALITY, and not just some contrived plane of blissful (see: ignorant) existence...I'm sure they love you there. As I said before - the world is way more complex than your pretty picturesque lifestyle in your head. If you can manage to find a community of likeminded people that can actually sustain themselves, good for you. But 9 times out of 10, if you are unwilling to adapt, change and actually just man up and accept that life isn't going to be all agreeing with you, you will find life to be extremely difficult to deal with. Sorry for being such a 'debbie downer' but I prefer to be called rational - you can call it cynical, sarcastic, 'vampiric', whatever - I just would rather not walk around with my eyes shut just because I'm not liking what I see.
Well im definitely not a "drainbow" haha i stayed for about a week after the gathering was over for clean up. So i did my part. I got dosed with several different psychedelics because i brought a fat sack of weed and smoked out EVERYONE i met. I was definitely giving as much if not more than i received haha But Im going to just agree to disagree. I dont wish to talk to you anymore. I dont come to this website to argue with people over petty shit or try and put people down. But thats all ive seen from you. So please, once again, take that somewhere else. I tried to be reasonable with you and explain certain things but then you just call me ignorant, which is far from true. So think whatever you want brother. Im done arguing online with someone i dont even fucking know haha thats seems kinda silly. So have a nice day brother.
ok so whatcha gots to do is get online and hook up with someone you mesh with, take a vacation to where they live. hook up with them and hopefully get their help with a cheap place to stay and then work on getting a sham wedding to stay in the country. or if your lucky an actual wedding. i dont know but i have seen that work around here.
Hmm thats actually a pretty good idea... thanks a lot pensfan! Now ive just got to meet some single aussi females ;}
I was born here in Australia, and if you want to escape everything you mentioned above you're probably best not to move here. The price of living is higher than the us (though the pay is more) and there is corporate greed everywhere. Greed in general... racism.. blah. There are definitely some beautiful places here though, not like that. I lived in the typically "hippie" areas up the coast of NSW for a time.. Here is a video I watched of this lady living in costa rica... It's a little bit fake I think due to the hidden house in the background but her ideas may inspire a new plan for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXSQWQP4tmw"]How to thrive off the grid with no electricity, car, internet, TV or solid hous
Yeah i feel you on that. Honestly i know people are going to be people everywhere because everyone has an ego no matter how big or small and thats where conflict stems from. Clashing egos trying to project eachother onto one another. I know im not from down under but ive heard many good things about that placed as well as not so good things but im kinda more in it for the nature aspect. Id probably go live off on my own or try and start an eco village type commune or something. I would like to be self sustainable and not have to work for the man
big dreams man, big dreams! there are communes up in nimbin i believe. maybe you could volunteer to do some wwoofing?
I know how you feel. I am a Kiwi living in Australia, about to move to back to NZ with my Korean boyfriend. We will start the migration hooha very soon and I am nervous. Any tips would be appreciated.
