So I am smoking legally for the first time

why is that an ethical issue for you? Is it because of the law, or safety reasons. Because where i live (in the middle of no where) there are quite a few spots where rolling with not be dangerous at allll in any way. I wouldn't doit in traffic, but thats because of safety. If i'm not affecting anyone else (or myself actually) how is it unethical?

And also i'm not sure i get the connection between rolling signs and people justifying their getting high with fake illnesses. If they do that than they're probably concerned with legality, therefore would care more about stopping at a sign than one who smokes illegaly...

 

The conection is comical at best but it could be used to show that rolling threw a stopsighn without stoping is mush more dangerous than saying you need Herb for medical resons just to be able to get "high" legaly. You could also actually get hurt and hurt others rolling threw stopsighns. Really what Im sayin is that we gotta do whatever we gotta do to make Herb an accepted part of life and if we fein an illness in order to skirt the law we should in order to partake in one of our God given rights. The more openly we smoke our Herb the more comonplace it becomes and it should be comonplace to see normal Folks smokin Herb responsibly. Im just tryin to point out here that the bigger crime is actually rollin threw stopsighns.

 

I don't get the fact that my grandfather, whos like 80-something, can take a pill to make his dick hard, yet I can't smoke a plant that grows in the wild.

 

^^^^Another fine example of how society's got its priorities screwed up. For some reason$$ the goverment seems to think its more better for gramps to have a boner than it is for me to smoke my Herb. Boners can be verry dangerous things even in the hands of a 70 year old. My Herbs compleaty harmless! You could eat a pound of it and you still couldnt hurt yourself! Only a fool wouldnt know the priorities of the powers that be. For the sake of the dollar theyl put a loaded boner in the hands of a 70 year old.

For the record, I am one of those who needs MJ medically. I might have only smoked it recreationally just once. All the other times I might have smoked it would have been for medicinal reasons, to get relief from a chronic vestibular condition that I suffer from. I think MJ should be legal, medical or not, but at the very least for medical reasons because honestly, sometimes nothing else works. Unfortunately I live in a state where you can't get a med card. So for me, it's either suffer or break a law. I don't like either choice.

 

Just to clear up a couple of matters.

One, the ethics I am concerned with is truthfulness not obedience to the law.

Two, I am not even suggesting that others follow my path. I am pointing out that path (it seems to be a little known path). But I am not critisising those who use fake scripts.

And, as I said before, I have no issue with anyone who feels they have a medical need.

 

Im most concerned with lyein stopsighn roller threwers! When a man lies and says he needs Herb for meds when he just needs Herb for personal use he commits a lesser moral offence than a man who rolls threw stopsighns. How many sick Folks have you helped by jumpin in fronta them rite before they got busted and yellin "NO TAKE ME INSTEAD! I ONLY USE HERB RECREATIONALLY!". Do ya think it would work anyway? Why do ya pick this issue to be "truthfull" and then roll threw stopsighns? You could actually kill someone rollin threw stopsighns. Hey. Mabey if ya went to your local pd you could take yer Herb in and turn yourself in and tellem,-There ya go, now yous can take the day off and not arrest any med users because I turned myself in? Hey.. Now theres an idea for ya- Why dontcha go an turn yourself in as a sacrifice. Mabey theyl understand exactyl whatcher doin and prolly let alla the med users go! Dontcha see dude? No one recognizez your effort. Satisfying your sense of ethics while the mater at hand gets outa hand turns your ethics into a mute issue. It seems that at this time we gotta work outside the law to make Herb an accepted part or life. The more we use it responsibly out in the open(when its wize) the more normal it gets. If we cant use it in front of some Folks we should at least talk about it in a positive light so they can get to know it better. Blessins
