They have to return bowls now,you can no longer be charged for anything if they find your pipe.

 

When did that happen? I thought if it had marijuana residue in it it was still illegal, and paraphernalia was a misdemeanor.

 

Meh, you tell the cops not to search the car, then when they do they find drugs. Them acting like assholes really isn't a surprise.

This happened to me about 4 years ago in Buffalo,they were really trying to nail me and the cop was pissed that he could not charge me,His overlord cop that showed up was the one who told him he has to return it.Im from West Seneca

yeah, certainly no surprise. but keep in mind when a cop asks to search your vehicle, its usually because they dont have enough evidence and/or the permission to go ahead and search it anyways.

never consent to a search- if it comes down to it, your still gonna get busted- your just gonna make the cops job that much harder.

 

I'm jealous I had friends that went, but I was busy and couldn't go.

 

I agree never make their jobs any easier than they already are.If they want to search your trunk tell them to go get a warrent.

oh man, you missed out... ive been to quite a few festivals and none as crazy as NY harvest. people literally set up temporary storefronts at their campsites, selling everything from obviously super dank weed, right down mescaline and shit... crazy. never been in a place like that which is just 100% tolerant of all drug use.

and my favorite part of the fest is the music... its fuckin awesome and never stops throughout the whole weekend. live music constantly. they have an official cannabis cup on Sunday at 4:20 where people enter an oz of their dankest and the people who pick up the most cigarette butts at the festival get to be a judge in the cannabis cup. lots of activist speakers which is really cool too (where i picked up a lot of this knowledge that came in useful last night).

dont miss it next year! although its no longer going to be held at camp minglewood which was an AMAZING venue, but wherever it is next, harvest fest is probably one of the best festivals in the state. especially for stoners.. its unreal!

Are sobriety checkpoints really that common in high population areas? Not enough people live around here so I have never seen one, but I hear about them in other places all the time.

 

I've hit 2 in my life one was a couple weeks ago. They have them around here usually on DWI sweep nights which happen usually on holiday weekends and such.

 

they were pretty common in my small ass town in WNY.
