Oh, give me a break. I'm not going to tip a waitress well if she does a terrible job, and if she does a great job, I'll tip well, no matter what she looks like. And, unless the service is really, really bad, I always leave at least 20%, knowing how crappy food jobs are. Guys aren't pigs, idiots are pigs; and in case you haven't noticed, most every guy you will ever meet is an idiot... and the exact same thing can be said about girls. Life lesson #59.

try being a girl in customer service and you'll see most of the tips you get are in fact cause you have boobs. yes, some people tip properly. i'm sure you do. but after having to see how many guys say .. inproper things, i'm sticking with my statement.
I have to say it as "guys" and not idiots in general, cause I dont get hit on by girls.. or at least I dont notice it if it does happen.
I will confirm those guys who do that are idiots though.

I hate people who hit on wait staff. They wouldn't hit on you if you were writing them a ticket for PI, they shouldn't hit on them for trying to serve their drunk ass a sandwich.

Waffles are morning sandwiches in the south. We try to simplify things as much as possible.

We also cover sandwiches in syrup, so the difference is academic.

It's honsetly a pet peeve of mine. I've waited tables before, and I've gotten it, but it was a lot worse for the women I've worked around.

But I've never been alowed to throw people out for being drunk and obnoxious. I hated waiting tables. If I owned a restaurant I would toss anyone who harrased the staff.

I'd also toss resturant critics. It might not be successful, but it would be rewarding.

 

that kind of attitude isn't going to get you any tips. but my money is canadian - you probably don't want it anyway.

you can pass of the gold canadian coins as us dollar coins.
some canadian handed me one at work once and said "what is it?" and i glanced at it and said it was a dollar. and he told me to pay more attention.

 

im not gonna read this whole thread, but i'll say it again. i hope anyone who dares try to flirt with my fiance and makes her feel aweful, gets castrated
