If you wanna be a hippie you don't have to run away and go live in the mountains or stop showering or grow your hair to your ass. You must embrace who you are that you are different than most people. You must accept that there will be disapproving of your choices and lifestyle but don't let that stop you from being happy. Don't think about the things you do as good or bad just wether or not they harm yourself or others if you don't think they harm then go for it.

 

Being a hippie is all about love. You don't have to smoke or anything of that nature. Yes It's fun. but its not required. Just love everyone even the jerk that hits you in the head with a football while your trying to have a peaceful picnic with some friends at the park.

 

Love love love, all you need is love. As Ibepeacful said, love everyone, love your enemy. And just do whatever you feel like is good. Believe in yourself and others.

Well...for one thing I say that you do have to grow your hair to your ass. Allthough that's not what matters really. But you do have to get you some granny dresses.
