ozzy was a good mod, someone said before that they couldn't understand how someone without a lot of time with dreads could be mod but I dont think that has too much to do with being a mod, basically you just make sure everyone follows the rules and the rules dont have anything to do with dreads hence too much knowledge is necessary anways dont know if not having a mod is god or bad

mods can't just randomly ban people. and you don't have to donate anything to the site to be one, you just have to have a personal forum or be a senior member, as merrivale so kindly linked. I can understand why OD left, though. takes a lot of time and effort to effectively moderate, and there's no paycheck.
he didnt exactly seem to leave because of that, bit rougher issues anyway....this place doesn't need a mod. maybe just a little. unless you people want big changes or something. moderator is usually the guy closing threads that have spam, offtopic..whatever. there are no following of rules here. evey thread gets completely random top of the head silly posts and lots of them and for pages and pages...a moderator can either go along with it and thus erasing the need for a mod anyway (except the cases of some true asses crossing some "lines") or start getting tough and start demanding for order. it just doesn't fit this place or any of what the people here want probably. guess we could use someone to 'take out the trash' every once in a while but neah, dont need a crazy powermonkey this place has changed over some time anyway...not feelin the vibes anymore for some reason. lot of personal tension too for some reason, people with nothing better to do trollin around...kind of stupid, but whatever rocks your boats, peace.

yes, I know. but those issues likely were exacerbated by the hours upon hours he spent here. amy- You don't need a mod in a room with friends, but in a barroom full of people you barely know and possibly dislike strongly, it's always nice to have that bouncer standing by the door.

yeah i like the non-intervention approach. maybe it's too much to ask one person to do. maybe we need two moderators to act as a united team against fuckery!
