Why would anyone worry about Tasmanian Devils. I know they have disgusting table manners, but not really dangerous?

fuckin dropbears, I love it, I once had a japanese exchange student convinced that there were vampire penguins on granite island. "if you see one with red glowy eyes, DON'T LOOK IT IN THE EYES!"

    awwww mean. :p
see, australia is so much cooler than here, we don't have any fictional demented animals to scare off stupid tourists!!! All we have is Sasquatch, but i'm convinced those exist.

Summer brings out the spiders so you check your shoes as a precauction, the mosquitos and flies come out also and ants. Qld doesn't really have flies though, more down south. Only in outer areas of the cities may there be snakes but all in all, there is nothing harmless or bothersome. You might see the odd moth flying about or lady bug but that's it. We wouldn't go about with no shoes if there was a large danger :) Don't worry about it.

yeah, don't worry about the deadly ones, the flies are what'll really piss you off, you end up so worn out from swatting at them you'll just hide under the bedsheets.

did anyone say ROADTRIP?, Retro :p

I have never had any problems at all with bugs there. Maybe in the more rural areas of Australia like the Desert areas, they may be a problem. I live in a city so its hard to tell. I have seen some pretty big spiders however the majority are harmless except the Sydney funnel web which can fuck your shit up
