Haha.. Damn you for anticipating such a comment, though I suppose it was fairly obvious.
I'm 6ft and 165-170 lbs, so by no means a massive guy.

I've no training or experience with MMA, but I've trained quite a bit of boxing and a little muay thai. One fight in the ring, none outside for a long time. I don't like fighting, and strongly disapprove of it, unless it's competitive and organized - in which case I love it :)

Oh, and sports games are lots of fun.
    What's the point?

Well, I love both boxing and football, and I love to go at it, but it fucking wears you out. For sheer fun, I could beat a pad or punching bag for an hour, but physically, it's just not possible. And I'm an awful football player, and have a bad knee, but I'd still like to play, if only on a game console.

And then, of course, you can assume the role of your favorite athletes or manage your favorite team well, for once, something they always seem to fail miserably at in the real world

Sports games are mentally trying too. Especially football games. You generally have 7 seconds at most to make all your adjustments and sometimes you have to make 6 or 7 adjustments WHILE reading the D before the offense starts the play.

To me, football is nothing more than a fast paced, physical chess type of game.

After all, they are both war games, now aren't they?

And at 6ft 170, I'd step into the ring with you, though I must warn you taller folks have a hard time hitting me at 5' 8" because I keep such a low stance.

That's about how big I'd like to be, but I'm not growing another 2 inches. So I'll settle for 5'8" and a good 185.....

I've never played sims (unless you count the 10 seconds I gave it on the N64). Always seemed kinda pointless...

But my friend has pirated it! so we now have a copy. Just a case of installing etc.

    He didn't get caught! :D

Man, I aint played N64 in years. I really only play with xbox 360. Those games are pretty cool but I bet in several more years they will be shit, also.

Yeah, I stick to PC, sometimes the Wii.

Apparently in Sims 3 you can make your sims vegetarian! :D
I laughed when I first heard.

There was a lot of fighting in this thread.

Again, I just want to fight Fitzy. He'd be worth it. Most of you regulars just have strong wrists from a lot of nights of Nintendo and masturbation.

lol, Jai, I didn't even know they made a Sims for the N64. The thing about The Sims that's so great is just the random things that are so goddamned funny. Like the first Sims was buggy as hell, so there were a lot of crazy glitches. My neighbor had a copy of it and his dude died, so instead of coming up through the floor like normal, the grim reaper came and rang the doorbell. And he just sat there and kept ringing it and ringing it, tapping his foot, checking his watch...lol. And once I was playing it and I told one of the Sims to take a bath, but I had the move objects cheat on, so as soon as they went to fill up the tub, I deleted it, and the Sim freaked the fuck out and died. It was so fucking funny, I really wish I had a video of it.

A lot of them already are.
Not enough new in the 360 games, it's all the same shit as last gen with better graphics - I far prefer both PS3's and Wii's (small) libraries.

I still play some N64 games though =D
Perfect Dark, Mario Kart, those ones will never die.

KR: hahaha... That sounds pretty good.

Unfortunately it also sounds like the kinda game I'd get bored of very soon.
