What do you hate about Northern Cali?

 

this town.. lol

i love a lot of other parts.. but this specific town sucks.. it's a dumping place for out of state people. lots of rednecks.. materialistic folks... i try to look past all that, but it's hard when it is repeatedly in my face.

 

you know, that hurts. i'm a materialistic redneck-ish person and i'm quite likable.

 

like there's anything wrong with that.

 

okay okay.. lemme reword that... or just say.. it is "them" who judge me.. so i kinda get that frame of mind.. "fine! i'm gonna do it back to you then!" even though i try really hard not too.. seems a lot of people are not open-minded in this area.. they assume things about me before they know me. like the lady that tried to buy my groceries for me..

 

it's that whole dirty hippie/ materialistic redneck war thingy, isnt it?

 

they're winning here... i seem to be the only 'hippie-type' person here... it is not stereotypical northern california at all..

My problem is that everyone here (in the middle of stereotypical Humboldt) out-hippies me so I just fade into the background and nobody notices me

I moved from Detroit to the Mountains and I absolutely love it! it's gorgeous all the time, even if the weather is bad. It's hard to beat that Rocky Mountain High!

Haha I hate my town.

The village where my grandparents live and where I grew up is damned gorgeous though.

Sadly, I am neither awesome nor gorgeous. Haha.
