Looks larger than I expected tbh. Mars isn't even that big through my telescope.
So I call BS for that reason alone.
I'm pretty particular on what pictures I think are accurate when it comes to space and science. They say they've seen worlds in galaxies far, far away, yet they can't take a picture of the moon showing the flag that's supposedly up there.

The flags are actually in better shape than anticipated but I believe they have washed out to white.

I don't see a flag there at all.
I see a rubbish picture with rubbish picture quality and rubbish details and a black smudge they deem to be a "shadow".
Gonna have to try again. Like I said, I'm particular with scientific pictures because what scientists think they can see in them looks like hokus pokus to me.
