    Well, it is in my case. I also never noticed 'true' heavy metal fans don't appreciate bands that don't take themselves too seriously. So I thought I'd just mention it :D

    Haha, I ment to say that in my experience true metalheads have no problem with bands who don't take theirselves too seriously (which was suggested by Firsthero to be a possible reason why they don't like System of a down in general). English is not my first language by the way!

    Soad is pop music.

    Any band that needs MTV to get them fans shouldnt be performing anywhere besides the local bar.

    Arial was about that best of their work.. thats all I know.. Had a Gf that loved them and shit I seen tham like 6 times.

    Just so you know... his post makes perfect sense. He stated quite clearly that he has not noticed how metal listeners do not like music by artists who don't take themselves seriously.
