well, if you don't mind lots of lifting and moving and stuff, become a stock person...you recieve the shipments, and store them and restock whatever else the shop needs. its tiring when you recieve a huge shipment though...
flattery will get you everywhere... er, naw. The red hair and pierced nose freak people out sometimes. My little city has some pretty conservative people in it, unfortunately.
That's funny. You'd fit in well here in california...even though i'm in the most conservative part of this county, no one gave me shit for having orange/pink hair while waitressing at a local family burger joint.
I only use a moisterizing body wash, and it has to be very mildly scented. I can get particular about the scents because any heavy perfumes can cause me get intense migranes. Dove agrees with me quite well, but I don't have a "regular" kind that I prefer. I rather enjoy trying different ones because I get tired of the same thing after a while. The same goes for my shampoo and conditioner.
The only product I won't change or except any substitutes for is the St.Ive's Apricot Scrub for my face. I've been a faithful user of that for many years and I absolutely adore it. I doubt I'll ever stop using it, unless they *gasp* discontinue it someday.
Oh, that is me to a "T". I get migranes from them (scents) so easily, and the migranes can end up getting so bad that I will actually vomit from them. Over a freaking perfume, body spray, lotion, candle, air freshner, you name it! I find it so irritating because sometimes I can't even be in the same room with someone who has a scent on that doesn't agree with me, at least, without ending up with a horrendous headache. It really sucks!
What REALLY bugs me about that is the that so many department stores (Sears/Bay/etc) put the perfume counter at the very freakin front of their store! I'm not as sensitive as my mom is too it, but christ it's bad. And they spray the scent everywhere (one of the regular mall creeps likes to spray all the testers on him and walk around the mall, it's actually worse than walking through the perfume counter). I just think having the perfume counters set up so that you HAVE to walk through them to get anywhere is rude and inconsiderate of people with scent allergies. Almost all of the doctor's offices these days have signs requesting that people don't wear scents because it bothers people, but department stores are just jackasses (IMHO)
I can't deal with perfumes/colognes either, I get MASSIVE headaches from it. I hate going into those stupid department stores with all the testers.
I live a mile from the Dr. Bronners place. He lived 5 miles away from me. It's so cheap to get here, especially the pepermint which they sell in mad quanities...like damn who needs a gallon of pepermint hemp soap hah, I do I do d:it's amazing how fast you can go through that stuff.
