Soccer World Cup 2018

I knew Germany would lose to Mexico I had this intuition and I was going to put money on Mexico. I had this feeling that the group looked too easy, and like a couple of cups ago we went in not trying. Didn't watch the game but I reckon that's what happened. I want to see Poland make it through.

 

I'm pretty sure nobody outside of America gives a hoot whether someone kneels or stands for an anthem, specifically the American anthem. I love reading Facebook about people getting upset lol. Kneel, stand, jump or sit. Dun matter to me, just get out and play ball and make those throws, make those catches, swat those balls and play good D like you're getting paid.

 

Americans are taught that that stuff matters a lot. Its pretty funny at times, but i don't look it up! It gets old fast. Then it gets kind of pathetic seeing them riling themselves up, acting passionately on a trivial matter only other indoctrinated americans care about. In the worst case (for them. IDGAF) they let it ruin the game or whole sport lol

West Africa apparently. Poles need to wake the fuck up, but it's hard for Polish teams because they aren't paid like other nations which is why they don't really succeed as much, is what I was told once. Whereas other nations load their players to play.

Probably doesn't help that Germany steal good Polish players and pay them well but I am furious Germany and Poland have come out too easy and lost. Inexcusable. Assholes. AhhhhhhHhhHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhh whatever it's a shit sport anyway.

 

England won their first game I am hoping they do well. Also Mexico beating Germany is impressive.

 

Poles get paid worse than Senegalese soccer players?
They're (were ) pretty high on the general expectations list (8 if i recall right). So they just fucked up. Senegal's goals were kind of lucky, but the victory was earned. They were the superior team

 

But KSA, Iran, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia made it.

Anyways, not very interesting so far.

 

I am suprised how much games i have enjoyed watching so far.

Argentina - Croatia might be fun.

I don't know what's Germany doing though.

Every country in the world should just do away with all other sports & adopt the old Mayan one where you get sacrificed if you win. Sometimes they even played games where the ball was a head. Far more entertaining if you ask me.

 

This time around it comes at the end of the financial year, my workload doubles, wont have any time to watch anything anyway

 

I'm a typical American. This just isn't a real sport to me.

NFL has kneeling fucks and soccer/futbol has diving fucks.

 

All the people who don't like the kneels need to watch nascar cause they do the best job of military support.

 

Baseball is just as bad as Soccer or Cricket and Basketball not all that interesting either

NFL is the only "American" one I will watch, but even all the stop starting in that gets annoying at times

I don't get into baseball much either. dunno how that game goes for as long as it does when they all strike out every other minute. But, it is better than cricket.
I think Americans orientate their sports better for spectating. Like, you wanna watch a 5 day test match in cricket where they leave all the balls and block block block? Or do you want to watch someone pelt a ball as fast as they can and have someone hit it as hard as they can? I'd watch the latter. Same with football, watch a pack of guys kick a ball around and you might see a goal? Or, watch a pack of guys go hard 100% every play, belt the shit out of each other? I'm going the latter. Motorsport? Watch a bunch of dudes snake around a track and cant pass, or, pack of dudes going twice as fast with almost countless passing? I'm going the latter. The sights and sounds of pure American sports, far surpass anything else I've been able to experience.
