Dear NoHobo, I cannot confirm or deny or comment anything, as I was already accused of hating Serbs. But thank you for your valuable input. Seriously though, they were also shouting the usual "nož, žica, Srebrenica". Because Kosovo = Muslims. It's a shame, really. All of it.
Islam is a shame. They were also wearing these hoodies... which I personally found to be hilarious. https://media.bih.ba/2018/06/7651686125b2d3edadfb7f260134111_orig.jpg
My money is on them being eliminated in a shameful fashion by Senegal or Japan or some sort of weird Afro-Asian combination of the two in the round of 16.
Those Ratko Mladic hoodies really are hilarious, just like the fine gentlemen wearing them. I might make me a Slobodan Praljak hoodie.
I don't get what's so shameful about the eagle salute of the albanian players. That people get their panties in a twist over it is a shame. As well as the case FIFA opened against them. And of course its a shame it inspires certain people to state moronic stuff like this: Nuff said.
Eh when political situation is at best delicate, might be best to avoid anything that can be understood as provocation or political statement. But then again, it's tough when you're provoked...who the hell wears ratko mladic hoodies or yells "kosovo is serbia" at a fucking football match. Hooligans ruin it for everyone. They should just ban Balkan countries from sports.
I thought the albanians only did it when they scored. Just suck it up opposite team and supporters. Not if he can't make a nuanced comment. And being from occupied territories may be the reason he feels like saying stupid stuff but it is not an excuse. So it shouldn't be used as one.
Is this a finger gesture? Lol. I don't get that. You pick a finger and you point with it or stand it up and this is meant to offend me?
Sweden loses. Congratulates opponents on winning. Serbia loses. GLOBAL INJUSTICE, INTERNATIONAL CONSPIRACY AGAINST SERBIA
In rugby union the losing side forms a tunnel of players on the side line and claps the winning team off the field. and then the winning team extends the tunnel and claps the losing side off. I think that's.. Gentleman like. Chivalry.
I guess yes, if you believe their native country (that they're honoring by these gestures) is actually an important part of your country, and shouldn't be independent. I dunno. I don't really care.
Neither does the majority of the world.. which is why I generally prefer these trivial actions to get ignored. I also think its normal that after an important goal you celebrate the goal, even in a slightly provocative way. People who make a big deal out of that are mostly frustrated whiners and sore losers.
