Well let's put it this way to clear up my own point of view, since I did expend so much energy into making the OP. I am not one to doubt anyone, I may say something in the way of argument to hear a defense, but deep down I realize that you can never truly know anything about anyone. So, I am not one to say that Buddhist monks and Hindus who have attained to moksha, liberation, negation of karma while inhabint the body/mind are liars, I just wont believe it fully until I experience it myself. Wether I ever do or not doesnt matter, I try to be a good person and I allow God's program to unfold without too much interference. Im sort of stuck between the Tao and Enlightenment, but I feel both may be viewed as perpetual mobius strips when viewed objectively, and like I said, two truths will always grind because they are fragments of the illusive whole (in the Nature sense).

i feel that, the perpetual grinding of two contradictory universals. it is this grinding that I believe creates the raw energy that creates and sustains life and existence. It's actually liberating to me that the ultimate truth is contradictory. That contradiction, the vascillation, is the underlying backbone of all being., and it manifests itself on all scales.

Oh it is very liberating when you see it in that manner. I agree with you, everything releases this energy, everything is (to us, of course) fragments, and all is the same. Lies and truth are the same thing, just by the very fact that they exist in whatever form and on whatever levels they happen to, well, happen upon. The only universal truth, I think, besides change, is that there is no universal truth perceivable to that which preceives truth in fragments, and therefor we make out on our own path. True freedom is constant questioning to me, at least for now and Im happy with my position. But like all else, it will change :)

You are complicating it too much imo. In order to feel one you need others. This world would not be possible without diversity. Same thing shown different way, many ways. It is perfect as it is. Seeing everybody as a mirror images of yourself can help. Even the atributes that you don't like in others are the ones that you have. Everybody is part of me and I'm part of everybody. And when you talk about love are you talking about just love or unconditional love? As much as I love every person, animal, plant and thing I know that my love for them is not unconditional cause if I can say that my daughter and my husband will always come first I'm immediatly making a condition for the others, a boundary. Feeling unconditional love for everyone (like the monks) takes a lot of sacrifices. Life without any attachment. Most of them have that road since they are born. Would you be able to stand in front of a person who wants to kill you or your family and still love him same as you love yourself or your family? I certanly cannot do that. At least not now. So my love for some is conditioned.

But at least you do love somebody totaly unconditionaly and you know what it is like and you can strive towards it, to try to love everybody as close to that as it is possible by your current state of mind. Problem is when people don't even know what is that unconditional love and they think that they do love like that, until hopefully they get surprised.

Unconditional love is just that, not conditioned, not even by emotion. I can see someone who goes to murder my family (always this example lol) as a part of God's program and that alone allows me to love them, because in the cosmic sense, they are no different from me. Emotionally, yea I would probably kill them, but as Krsna says, it is not you who kills. Eventually you just keep changing clothes.

I can relate to a lot of things in there. But to understand it all...well that's just an obsession in itself. My theory is either way we're all hypocrites, and you can't say that you aren't. As far as how I live my life everyday and stay happy, I just put a good vibe out and a good vibe from others will come back to me. When a bad situation happens, I just don't let it get me down for long. Saying that nothing gets you down is a lie, being down is just another emotion and emotions are probably the most natural thing we do.

This is going to turn into a ramble from there, so I'll just stop.
