I generally like kids but if I saw a kid doing this, it would take a lot of self control to not physically harm that kid
I think that goes for most of us. (although Im not the biggest fan of kids in general... lol) I'm the most timid, placid, non-violent person you could ever hope to meet, but when I hear/see stories like this, it's very difficult for me not to wish severe harm to come to those who take pleasure in hurting animals. And it makes no difference if they are kids. All wicked adults were kids themselves once.
They should catch people like this, put them in labs and make experiments on them. At least they would be usefull to the society.
To be perfectly honest, I'd much rather see people like that being experimented on in labs than innocent and defenseless animals.
I hate these stories poor animals deserve so much better than this abuse, worst part is is that for these kids its just a laugh and a joke, rather than abusing and harming another life. I saw a story about some dude putting his kitten in the microwave for like ten minutes . Honestly make me sick. People are so fucked up.
how is it not nice? Not everyone wants to see the aftermath pciture of wat some stupid kids did to a dog. Thats an image i would rather not have in my head. I think you are confused as to what I meant..
Uhm, what do you mean? Isn't this reality? Is it nice? You could be confronted with horrible pics of reality every day. Be glad it's generally done in moderation and only of disturbing exceptions (I am).
I was sent this story last year. It is on snopes as a true story that happened in Bosnia. The dog had to be put down. Very sad story. Sadly if they threw the firecracker and the dog went to catch it the same thing could happen. Unfortunately this case was deliberate. Same graphic picture in snopes story. http://www.snopes.com/photos/gruesome/crackerdog.asp
I feel ya. Bad things happen every day, some much worse than this. If we all went around looking at pictures of every bad thing in the world we would either go insane or we would become desensitized. "Just remember the things you put in your head are there forever " -cormac mcarthy
It is reality, but it's a reality that some would prefer not to see or think about. It would be unhealthy to seek out this type of thing on a regular basis, but it would be equally unhealthy to be eternally shut off and protected from such images. Becoming apathetic to these realities is just as bad as becoming desensitized to them. As I said earlier, change can only begin once enough of us are aware that these atrocities go on. It will take a long time to change these things, but it can still happen. But it can't if we turn our backs to it, we need to confront it. The contemptuous attitude of my government towards the poorest and most vulnerable in society is a prime example of what happens when people are too far removed from the dark underbelly of our society, it's as if they are living on a different planet, to those whose realities are grim and harsh. Complete disconnection from the harsh realities is just as bad as being desensitized to them.
fuck this. it was fucked up when i first saw it months ago and it is still fucked up now. there's always gonna be pain and suffering in this world and there's nothing anyone can do about it except take care of your own little place on this world. posting shit like this does nothing but make people feel bad.
Well said I think a graphic image warning should have been put here, there are kids that look in these forums as well. And those kids should be punished like they did to that poor animal. But as somebody else said when they are old they will remember this and it will haunt them andIf it doesn't well then we will most likely read about them as a murderer or who knows what else.
I don't get why everyone's complaining about the picture, this tragedy it's sad as hell and messed up... but the pictures just gross and a tad upsetting, no big deal... the story itself though is beyond disturbing... what was going through these kids heads? how could they feel no guilt or remorse? not even one of them thought "hey, this is a little fucked up, maybe we shouldn't be doing this" as they were shoving fireworks in a dogs mouth and lighting them? If they were little kids.. they have some really messed up parents and a distroyed child hood... if they're teenagers... well, then i wouldn't even give a shit if they all died that night, they should know better... they do know better. They're just assholes. But who cares about the picture itself, its sad, but no need to get upset over it... If you really wanna see something worth complaining about watch one lunatic one ice pick it's literally an actual dead body, being chopped up by luka magnotta, a murderer, with an ice pic... he even eats disassembles a few of his limbs then eats a few chunks of him.. now THAT, is fucked up... one little picture, notsomuch
To be honest the one that was the most disturbing for me was video from Dnepropetrovsk maniacs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dnepropetrovsk_maniacs
I haven't watched that video, just hearing about what happens on it is bad enough. Though the "reaction videos" to it on youtube are almost as repugnant as the actions that take place in the video. To call that grossly insensitive would be an understatement. To keep this somewhat on-topic, the Dnepropetrovsk maniacs tortured and killed dogs and cats before going on their human killing spree. Those who torture animals "for fun" are lacking in empathy, and display psychopathic tendencies. And should be locked up for the safety of not just other animals, but also the decent, law abiding public too.
it is not common for children to torture small animals in this hellish manner i would say that it is very uncommon i am quite sure i could post 100 feel good stories about kids for every child torturing an animal story without breaking a sweat.... dont lose faith n all of humanity because of one circumstance
