you assume much about me and my spiritual path. yes i know all about the "larger possibilities"...meditation, astral travel, reiki, ect. its what keeps me balanced, without which i could not be a very successful psychonaut. your attutude is very condesending, self righteous, and quite frankly annoying...dont assume i cant handle the psychedlic path simply because you couldnt. to each his own right?

lsd is far from a dependance or somthing i need. but i view it as a powerful tool and as such, at this stage in the game, i choose to use that tool. using ethogens as spiritual tools is nothing new, shaman from all corners of the earth have been doing just that since the begining of time.

    agreed

I would never have thought that the earth was so old
    lol

anyways... Keramptha, you make a good point, but you have to stop making things up to back your argument
you really dont know much about biochemistry... you were the one asking obscure questions about why lsd affects the brain

Keramptha, this is a fucking free speech forum, so first off, get rid of the stars when you say fuck. Jesus, didn't you see the title bar, "400+ Free Speech Forums." Stop telling people a story about how 'lsd' did this damage to you, when you don't even know if what you did was l. Please, in detail, tell me, where did you get the 'acid?' A show? A friend? A bar? Maybe you broke open a battery and sucked the juice down. Who knows what the hell you took, how pure it was, what impurities there were, what levels they were found in, etc. so don't go saying LSD IS SO HORRIBLE. Eating illegal synthetics made mostly by under-experienced chemists is the horrible thing.

Mullis, Dr. Kary – Nobel Prize winning DNA expert, and surfer. Mullis received a 1993 Nobel Prize for single-handedly inventing the PCR reaction, one of the most important advances in molecular biology ever made. When asked by a reporter what his hobbies were, he replied that they were surfing, chasing young women, and using hallucinogenic drugs. (Hopefully not all at the same time.) He said this prior to receiving his prize, and was told by a friend on the nominating committee that he had been up for consideration but would not receive the prize until he cooled it with the LSD talk. He did cool it, and the next year got the prize. He said that he was able to discover this becuase he was 'down there sitting on dna'. Mullis also said that he wasnt stoned at the time, but through his previous LSD use he learned how to shift his consciousness around. It was also noted that he did not really believe he would have ever found this if he did not use lsd.

    - an excerpt from his book "Dancing Through the Mind Field"

    sounds like severe brain damage
