The Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat Station is one of the first motion pictures and allegedly it caused panic and fear with some audiences, with some reports that people were even getting up out of their seats because they thought they were going to get hit by the train.
yeah, piaf's sudden absence was made into a big production, but mcfuddy was very stealthy about it; i just happened across one of his old posts and it said that he wasn't a member anymore. on the plus side, i just learned that noserider still exists.
Unforuntate, isn't it? Maybe they will be back! And you're back, so that's awesome! We all missed ya.
I missed you guys too. Eh, real life sometimes rears its ugly head. What are you going to do? Happy to be back though
First I heard about McFuddy Thats a little bit weird though, why would a guy like that i.e normal dude ( probably the most normal dude here) do the little tanty Im never going to a member ever thing ........unless......he and Piaf did actually hook up and shes making him, yes that makes a lot more sense Maybe they are getting married right now, and there is a little McFuddy on the way
If we ever do get robots that can think for themselves, why would they even need to stay in earths atmosphere Probably take them all of 6 weeks to work out they should be orbiting closer to the sun and mine all the stuff they need from Mercury
I don't do much learning. Or maybe i'm just unaware of what i've learned. I get the impression that people easily believe what they read in books and on the net without really questioning, exploring, or examining further, and consider that to be learning. I find myself wondering if there is anything worth learning at this point.
The latter. If you live actively you learn too. Subconsciously perhaps but still. They will learn either way But yes, source and content matters! Not just emerging oneself in a subject matter without any scrutiny. And how they interprete and process this info also matters. Always. But not at every moment
There is a technical name for the “fear of long words.” It’s called “hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia.”
Yeah i can see that. Even unlearning what you previously learned can still be a form of learning i guess. Nothing survives with intense scrutiny. For the most part it really doesn't matter whether what one learns is really true or not. The only thing helpful is digging deep into myself and realizing how full of shit i am.
