But I came here to post this:

An emblematic poem is sometimes shaped into a particular pattern...like an emblem.

I've watched so many documentaries on Centralia now. I'm not sure what my exact interest is, I just find it sad and coming from a smaller town here, it makes me think what if everyone just left one day?

But the saddest part was a few guys living there still, who hold onto Centralia like its gospel aren't old. They're like 90s kids, like me... Mid 30s to 40s.

So it's intriguing as to why they live there. Rent free mostly, they admitted the government owns their properties they are basically squatters.

And then inside me it just blows my mind that there's a inferno underneath it and nobody can do anything or more importantly, nobody gives enough of a fuck to actually do anything. I know it must be difficult but I'd say it's not in impossibility to put out a fire? Maybe? I really don't know but we're landing men on the moon we can put out a damn fire.

Cosmology is in 'crisis'. Apparently the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation data does not agree with other data such as that from certain stars (Standard Candles?), In regards to the expansion rate of the Universe.

Barring corrections to faulty data, the implication is that the current model of Cosmology is insufficient and it may require new physics.

I don't believe crisis in cosmology means therefore aliens...

The hypotheses I've seen tossed around revolve around dark energy: ranging from dark energy increases in a way inconsistent with what had previously been thought to it not even really existing, just appearing to. (Which is the far less appealing explanation from my understanding).

Regardless, even before these findings, to say dark energy is not understood is about the truest truism one can make regarding cosmology.

They start to realise that all the magical things they can't even see, might actually not exist. :p and then you write me a big post apologising and that I was right for all those years. :p

    Say mercy GB.

If the magnitude of this research is as significant as the articles lead me to believe, I'll probably be long gone by the time it's figured out.

I'm learning something about Spanish, but I don't understand it yet. It's something about e.g.
. I think it means "I am speaking Italian." So the focus is on the difference between "I am speaking Italian" and "I speak Italian" which is "Yo hablo italiano." I hope I have that right! :)

looks right, from my memory at least.

also, the "yo" is unnecessary. it isn't wrong, but it is already implied by the conjugation of "hablo" so it isn't really required.

yea! my profe mentioned that, I think. If you want to be emphatic (with more emphasis) you can use Yo with the hablo or you could just say Hablo italiano which means "I speak Italian" or something like that. :D

Hablando means you are actively speaking it, like if you were speaking Italian and someone didn't recognize the language you were speaking and asked you "what language are you speaking?" you would use that.

Hablo means that you can speak (Italian).. Like if someone asked you "what languages do you speak?" You could respond with that.

I think there are a few other alternative models to the Lambda-CDM waiting in the wings and instead of going with Irminsul's infallible principles and theories, I suspect they'll stubbornly try those first.
