I fucking love South Park, it never ever has failed to make me laugh. Whenever I catch an episode I haven't seen I almost always end up laughing until I cry.
It got old at last. I used to find it funny, then it got annoying because it was more of the same, then it got lame. The occasional funny idea is not enough to keep me watching it. So, it was yay some time ago but now it's definately nay for me.
It seriously has been around long enough. I mean, it's not as outdated as the Simpsons, but it does need to give it up already.
Really? I mean I'm a classic Simpson's fan, it's one of the greatest-not just cartoons-but SHOWS ever made. It just seems like they've done all they can do at this point.
Hehe well, I never used to watch it so that might be it. I'm always late with the cartoon hipness. Also have no clue if I'm watching old or new Simpsons episodes by the way. I only know I enjoy it more then Southpark nowadays.
I've actually been enjoying the more recent South Park episodes. They've risen out of a comedic slump as far as I'm concerned. Recent Simpsons episodes have been okay as well. Family guy just keeps getting better though. It's my humour.
The first four seasons or so are a gigantic boldfaced, underlined, italicized, capitalized 'fuck yay!' Then it's starts varying from yays to nays, to major yays, with some major nays sprinkled in. Since they came up - Simpsons are awesome, though variable - they still can say a lot - they just don't often enough. Family Guy, never really had too much to say - but it started out funny - came back from the dead absolutely terrible - but every once in a while have an amazing episode that I can't believe came from the same show that causes me to hide the remote from my best friend =P I agree with Face Eater that they've just gotten out of a slump recently, and sometimes they remind me of those glorious old episodes =)
