different strokes for different folks. i like jager. i like benedictine. just cause something is sweet doesnt mean i hate it - if i like the flavor. sometimes i think it needs something added to it to cut the sweetness and make it better (benedictine and brandy is better than straight benedictine, in my book) but whatever. something that tastes good, tastes good. i love the taste of jager, even though it is very sweet. oh well. i hate soco. but if someone else likes it, whatever.
I hate soco, but I don't really. I've never paid for it, I'll put it that way. maybe I should get some benedictine. you say it's good..
i will say this once and once only: benedictine is delicious....BUT it is very sweet. it is also about as strong as normal liquor. iirc, its 80proof. benedictine and brandy is a better combination. it cuts the sweetness down without ruining strength or good flavor. they make premade benedictine and brandy they call b&b, but it costs the same as straight benedictine, and i doubt its comparatively priced brandy. i'd just get something inexpensive but drinkable. mix 50/50 for shots.
I love love love SoCo, but only when it's with lime. Otherwise, it is a bit sweet, however, I have an extreme diabetes-worthy sweet tooth. But SoCo and Lime is one of the best shots I've had in my life.
Well I dont dislike it, but it's not the sort of thing I'd want to be drinking all the time. After one or two glasses I'm pretty over it
I love soho. I used to drink it in high school cause it made me feel like janis joplin...now I just actually like it...terrible hangovers though.
its a really sweet peach-flavored liqueur based on bourbon rather than the vodka or brandy most liqueurs are based on. its really kinda sweet and a little girly, and mostly young college age and high school age kids prefer it. its a little less strong than regular whiskey, and a lot sweeter.
