    Pride of Man.

...... a golden oldie from my favorite old time band, Quicksilver Messenger Service.

    Turn around,
    go back down,
    back the way you came,
Can't you see that flash of fire ten times brighter than the day?
And behold a mighty city broken in the dust again,
    Oh God
    Pride of Man
    broken in the dust again.

    Turn around,
    go back down,
    back the way you came,
Babylon is laid to waste, Egypts buried in her shame,
Their mighty men are all beaten down, their kings are fallen in the ways,
Oh God, Pride of Man, broken in the dust again.

    Turn around,
    go back down,
    back the way you came,
Terror is on every side, lo our leaders are dismayed.
All those who place their faith in fire - in fire thier faith shall be
    repaid,
Oh God, Pride of Man, broken in the dust again.

    Turn around,
    go back down,
    back the way you came,
And shout a warning unto all the nations that the sword of God is raised.
Yes, Babylon, that mighty city, rich in treasures, wide in fame,
Oh God, Pride of Man, broken in the dust again.

The meek shall cause your tower to fall, make of you a pyre of flame,
Oh you who dwell on many waters, rich in treasures, wide in fame.
you bow unto your God of gold - your pride of might shall be your shame,
For only GOD can lead His people back unto the Earth again.

Oh God, Pride of Man, broken in the dust again.
The Holy mountain be restored, have mercy on that people, that people Lord !

    Amazing!!!!

    I make these snake mistakes
    I make these phoney ropes
    I make these snake mistakes
    I know i know i know i know
Why won't these bees leave me alone
These bees get me and I say Ow
Why won't these bees leave me alone
    I hate them bees

    My dad is so cool
he is the coolest dad in dad school
he does not break any dad rules
he would pick you up if i asked him to

Nothing is really mine except Krishna.
O my parents, I have searched the world
And found nothing worthy of love.
Hence I am a stranger amidst my kinfolk
And an exile from their company,
    Since I seek the companionship of holy men;
There alone do I feel happy,
In the world I only weep.

I planted the creeper of love
    And silently watered it with my tears;
Now it has grown and overspread my dwelling.
You offered me a cup of poison
    Which I drank with joy.
Mira is absorbed in contemplation of Krishna,
She is with God and all is well!

    Carrying God

No one can keep us from carrying God
    Wherever we go.

No one can rob His Name
From our heart as we try to relinquish our fears
And at last stand -- Victorious.

We do not have to leave him in the mosque
    Or church alone at night;

We do not have to be jealous of tales of saints
Or glorious masts, those intoxicated souls
Who can make outrageous love with the Friend.

We do not have to be envious of our spirits’ ability
Which can sometimes touch God in a dream.

Our yearning eyes, our warm-needing bodies,
Can all be drenched in contentment
    And Light.

No one anywhere can keep us
From carrying the Beloved wherever we go.

No one can rob His precious Name
From the rhythm of my heart --
    Steps and breath.
    -Hafiz
