I think that you need to qualify your statement that there is no difference between these two candidates. I agree with you that a part of our political process is broken inasmuch as $4 billion will be spent on this election. We must do something to eliminate the need for all of that money in the first place.

But given that the system in its current state is the one we have to work with, there are clear differences between these two candidates and I see a clear choice between the two. Although both parties are beholden to the interests of big money, John Kerry is a different (and better) choice than George W. Bush for all of the reasons that I (and others) have listed in a variety of forums.

There may be no difference in the pandering to corporate interests, but there are differences in philosophy in regard to fiscal policy, foreign policy, education, the environment, and social and moral issues.

It is folly to ignore these differences simply because of a dislike of the system that produces our candidates and president.

 

Folks, I think we should all take Moonjava's word over the 9/11 commission, and the presidents. Our gov't has basically conceeded that Iraq was not involved.

Haven't you learned by now that Moonjava just loves to make things up in order to make her point?
