well my caps lost last week...and my sharks arent doing so well right now either so im not in such high spirits...haha..it just kind of aggrivates me that the coach of philly was complaining about the refs not calling some penalties on montreal when the flyers could have not even been there had the ref called the goalie interference in game 7.

oh well, now my east coast team is montreal and im just hoping the sharks can pull themselves together!

Sharks are done. Stars are looking great and with Zubov back finally, I think Stars deserve more respect than they have been getting. What a spinning no-look pass Zubie made to Modano last night for the go ahead goal, man that was nice. Richards had an great 4 point 3rd period also. Stars have outscored opponents 17-5 in the 3rd period and 1 OT, so you can see this is a different Stars team than in the past.

 

But the Stars are one of those perennial contenders. I don't think anyone ever expects them to do poorly. The richards trade was the trade of the year. It really gives them a necessary element.

Great game between the Rags and Pens tonight. And the Stars game has been PHYSICAL.

 

Dont expect the stars to do poorly??? Pffft. Theyre as bad as Chicago... or Columbus, most years.

They're not far removed from a cup, they just eliminated the champs, they're about to eliminate the vegas favorites, and as long as Modano is playing they'll have a decent core. Turco is a vet now too so the rookie BS that he's a choker is over.

The habs will be fine. Although, that Kostopolos cheap shot will do nothing good for them. That is exactly what they had to avoid in order to get around Philly. Philly can't do anything but play physical. Montreal can't.

 

I'm just saying Dallas isnt really known for being the best team. I would say like the Red Wings (they always seem to be doing good) but I want to say Montreal now cause they have double the stanley cup wins than any other team, except the last two were in 93' and the year I was born 86', its been awhile Montreal!!!

and I have to disagree, Montreal is just as physical of a team. Flyers didnt have near as many hits when they played Washington

 

What a game last night! Hard fought all around with amazing performances by both goalies. 4 OTs and Morrow gets the game winner(and he had 19 hits!). Man, that guys a badass. The drive back to Houston was worth seeing them win, even though I got back at 5:30am and had a final today at 10am. Bring on the Red Wings, this should be quite a series.

I now have 2 series-clinching Game 6 rally towels and I want another. Go Stars!

 

Ugh. I'm so disappointed in the Habs.

I want to see the Penguins take the Cup, henceforth.

 

Philly was a better team, and i hope philly rapes the penguins just because.

My favorite team of all time is Detroit, but i would have rather seen the habs win.
